We have eaten here many times on our visit to this great city, but last nights meal was so disappointing, this place has gone so far down hill, overpriced for what you received, to not let a piece of steak bleed and then serve it on mashed potatoes that then proceeded to be full of blood, I won't be going... The food was just down right awful. Such a shame, the restaurant looks like it could be sooo good. Old and tired :(

I knew we had to visit this restaurant as soon as I saw the description of the Feed Me dinner on their website. Arrive hungry if you opt for this, because you will leave stuffed to the gills. This is a small place; I think we saw three waiters for the entire dining area, but we didn't really have to... More

Was looking for something under the radar, good but not super pricey. Found it in this nice little place. Good ambience, attentive waiter. Chef came out twice during the meal to check on what we thought. I had the chicken and my wife had the fish, both were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back and recommend... More

Even though the menu looked great, we decided to do the Feed Me menu, where the chef comes out and asks what you like, dislike, are allergic to... We did the three course menu, and OMG. One course was better than the next! The seared duck with sauté greens and potatoes was fantastic-perfectly prepared. But, the best was the pork... More

My wife and I visited New Orleans for a second time and the first reservation we booked for the trip was for Louisiana Bistro. Our last experience in 2015 was terrific and memorable and this one was no different. Both times we tried the "feed me" option where the chef comes to your table and sizes you up and creates... Everything from beginning to end was spectacular. The butter for the bread was even phenomenal. We ordered the Barbecue Shrimp, Strawberry Spinach Salad, Crispy Duck Breast, and the ice cream dessert. And the service? Spot on. The waiters were accommodating, and the chef even came out to greet us. It was a very warm and classy environment. This was the... More

While checking places to eat while in town on trip adviser I saw where this place had awesome reviews. So off we went. This place is so awesome! We had the feed me meal. Every course was amazing. Chef Brandon is awesome. It's like you can taste the love he puts in it. The staff were very friendly and took... More

New Orleans is known for its wonderful, eclectic food and jazz! My husband and I were walking down Dauphine street, hot, tired and hungry. We stopped first at Deanies seafood, of course there was a wait, it was noisy and crowded. We left and noticed a small, nondescript building to our left. I read reviews from Trip Advisor giving this... More

I highly recommend this lovely restaurant just one block from Bourbon St. We took our server Sam's suggestion to do the Feed Me option on the menu. You can do 3,4 or 5 courses. Chef Brandon comes out see if there are any food allergies or simply any food you do not like. Once he has this information he prepares... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
