Food was ok, service was pretty ordinary as in not very interested in making sure you had everything or needed anything else. Price was fair and decor was in need of something to distinguish what kind of restaurant they are.

We live only 12 miles from Village Inn, which is located in River Ridge, La (only a few miles from New Orleans). We frequent the restaurant quite often and stopped in for an evening meal yesterday, enjoying the best meal we've had in quite some time. My husband ordered half a Muffaletta and it was overstuffed, moist and perfectly toasted.... More

I had crawfish and them little craw dads were telling me don't eat me! I guess they may have knew that I loved the way they tasted.

We were tired, we were hungry...and I so wanted roasted oysters! And I got them. Literally, they arrived at the table sizzling hot, with fabulous taste, and bread for dipping into juices. The owner actually cooked my meal and did an excellent job. The restaurant is humble with low key table cloths and parking lot view but the food was... More

Went here on a recommendation for muffalottas to bring to an event. They were apparently short on the olive salad so skimped with what they had so the sandwiches were mostly bread and little olive salad. Embarrassed to serve them. Won't go back.

Went for dinner with business associates. Wednesday is oyster night. Dozen for $5.95. The largest oysters I've ever eaten. A meal in itself. The crawfish had really good flavor. Sarah did an excellent job waiting on our group of 16. A very enjoyable meal.

Average food, pretty good service but limited menu. Was a lot better before Hurricane Katrina. We used to go at least once a week but they started getting pricey.

We came for lunch and will surely be back on our next visit. We ate at a lot of restaurants during this week-long visit. Our group of six was treated so the best seafood we had eaten! From oyster and shrimp Po'boy's to friend shrimp dinners, the food and service was excellent. The owner/manager overheard us talking about the chargrilled oysters... More

This is a neighborhood restaurant – good food, reasonable prices, wait staff that knows all the customers. They serve a lunch buffet that offers a mixture of fish/seafood, salad and Italian/American. They also have numerous seafood specials. The oysters and crawfish are very good – often they have specials so check the sign outside or ask. There is parking both... More
