Customer service was amazing. The ladies were very nice. Menu was not too extensive but enough to choose from. Great people. Great food.

Visiting the Old Coffee Pot was a truly unique experience. Amazing is really the word. I'm going to savour it for a very long time. From the moment we arrived, we really enjoyed the disinterested and weary attitude of the waitress. It was a particularly...More

We wish we had found this gem earlier on in our stay. We enjoyed a fantastic quaint breakfast here with great service. The Callas Cakes are a must have...wow! The rest of our meal was normal breakfast fare, but all done well. Will definitely visit...More

I ordered my usual when I visit, eggs over easy with my corned beef hash and grits. The waitress acted like she was on drugs or something. I asked for lemon with my water which was never brought, had to get another waitress to request...More

I'll start the review off by saying that when my husband asked for a rum and coke with dark rum the server said, "What is dark rum?" When my daughter asked for a recommendation on the specialty drinks the server replied, "I don't drink so...More

In a city known for the best food in the world, The Old Coffee Pot doesn't measure up by any means. It was convenient to our hotel, however, and my husband and I were hungry, so we stopped by. We had eaten there several years...More

This is their version of french toast! It is french bread soaked in a vanilla egg mixture and served with syrup and powder sugar.. Oh my, it is soooo good. I would eat there almost every day if there weren't so many other places!

Good service. Had the eggs Benedict (was called something else) and husband had the sis soul omelette. I liked his better than mine. My eggs had a slight vinegar taste. But was still yummy. Our girls shared pancakes w/ strawberries. They split it on 2...More

We ate in a charming courtyard close to Bourbon Street. Wine selection was dreadful (including some too old Chardonnay). My blackened redfish was overcooked and jambalaya boring. Service was charming and in earnest but not enough to make up for my meal. To be fair,...More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

Description
The Old Coffee Pot, located on St. Peter Street located next to Pat O Brian's and right off Bourbon Street is a great location for tourists and locals alike. The restaurant founded and established in 1894, is well known for serving one of the best breakfasts in New Orleans, with famous dishes such as the Crab cake Jonathan and traditional dishes such as the callas cakes. We also serve great lunch, with a special that includes a half of po-boy, a cup of gumbo and a side of fries that has become a crowd favorite and is one of the best samplers in the neighborhood. Our evening menu features the "Triple D', a dish that was featured on Food Network's "Dinners, Drive-In's, and Dives". Alongside this dish are other reasonably priced dishes of Creole and Cajun cuisine to satisfy anyone's appetite. We also offer a variety of beverages and cocktails, traditional mixed drinks and wines to compliment any dish. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, an aesthetically pleasing courtyard and a unique and traditional dining room with an atmosphere filled with New Orleans tradition and Southern charm. The Old Coffee Pot also offers additional services such as private parties and catered banquets in the river room or courtyard, reservations, and extensive one on one cooking classes hosted by Taste bud Tours.
