Had the pork tenderloin with Mac n cheese and bread pudding. It was amazing! The tenderloin was perfect and flavorful! The mac n cheese is made with spaghetti and baked! The bread pudding had pieces of pineapple chunks baked into which added a wonderful tasted to a fabulous dish!!! What a great start to our vacation in New Orleans!

We are all about the unpretentiousness of great NoLa cuisine, but immediately on entering found the ambience unsuited for dinner as there were bright white fluorescent ceiling lights on full (the most unflattering light possible). Our waiter was faultless and the service was friendly, speedy and unintrusive. Now, maybe we were just spoiled from lunch at Meals from the Heart... More

This place is amazing! Food is perfection and I must say the staff is friendly. I was waited on by Nic. He was warm and provide us with some great advice on the menu. Want good food in NOLA that's out of the way but still in the French Qtr this is the place. Also its BYOB :)

On a whim, my friend and I looked up the closest restaurants to us and decided to go with the highest rated, this was only number 40. When you walk in it feels so cozy. I ordered the fettuccini and it was very good. I had never had it served this way. We also had the red beans andouille and... More

Small, unpretentious. Food is interesting, servers are professional. I've eaten there a few times and haven't been disappointed. If you're brunching, go early or wait.

I'm absolutely amazed at how freaking delicious this restaurant is. I got the crawfish brouillettes and cochon with mustard greens and red beans andouille. I've not had a meal this good ever if memory serves me. Andy, our waiter was fantastic as well!!!

Really good restaurant in French Quarter. Busy and friendly. The food was very delicious and nicely arranged. Bring your own wine if you want alcohol to your dinner.

We had heard about the biscuits and gravy at Eats and we were not disappointed. Their take on this Southern classic was excellent.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
