This is a great place to get a quick meal. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it wound up being very good. The shrimp poboy was very good; so was the burger and the brisket. The staff was very friendly and our food came out relatively quickly. We would go back again.

Wasn't sure what to expect but their BBQ turned out to be very good. Server was friendly and helpful and the bar had great drink options. Definitely recommended!

I have tried both the pulled and the brisket and they were amazing! Great atmosphere and low prices! I would suggest everybody to get out from the French quarter and try this joint.

Everything to eat is great. The staff is informative and nice. All items we chose to eat from meats to sides was very delicious. The only negative is the parking..it was a pain to find a parking spot.

Wow, best pulled pork stuffed potato ever. Corn pudding is delicious, and bread pudding is unique, yummy. Your choice to eat up front, very laid back, but we ate in the backroom bar to get a hurricane. Ribs and pulled pork served by the cook herself, suprisingly fast. Very entertained by Roman, our bartender, very personable local who knows his... More

The food was average, the service wasn't good. I had the sliced brisket which wasn't to bad, but my bf had the piri piri chicken was wasn't nice at all. Waste of money.

We love, love this place. Eat here every time we are lucky enough to get to Nola. The food is excellent, especially the sweet potato soufflé. Prices can't be beat.

We were not very hungry but had to stop in after passing by and looking at their menu. Very friendly service and excellent, flavorful food. We tried several side items; gumbo, red rice and beans, corn pudding and then had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious. We are definitely coming back a

We ate there a couple of times. Lunch was good as well as supper. Gumbo was some of the better fare that I had while in New Orleans

Located right off the St. Charles streetcar line in the beautiful historic Garden District is the flagship location of VooDoo BBQ & Grill. Voted by locals as one of the top BBQ restaurants in Gambit's annual "Best Of..." issue and known for dishes such as their pulled pork, which is cooked for 14 hours over oak and pecan wood and served with two sides and a piece of garlic-buttered Texas toast, as well as the corn pudding, which is a cornbread souffle baked with whole sweet corn.
