He knows how to operate the finest steakhouse in Louisiana. From the open tables to the small, intimate, green-curtained private booth-tables, through the excellent service, this restaurant should not be missed if a steak is on your mind. Best beef there is, and the sides make your meal sheer perfection.

The original owner opened his steak house at a young age. His model was to serve the best quality cuts of beef. You can read about his story on the menu. The Filets were delicious and the Strip was perfect. All the steaks were presented at the ordered temperature. The garlic potatoes were special because they had plenty of garlic.... More

Finally made it to this historic steakhouse. Being a New Orleans resident for the past 10 years, four of us were excited to enjoy this great place. Definitely a "local gem!" Hope they never change! Our tip to you is to order a Porterhouse and a Ribeye steak for the table to split. Fantastic way to enjoy the best of... More

I come from a long line of steak eaters. I've eaten steaks from Chicago to NOLA, from New York to San Diego. My absolute favorite steakhouse in America is found in NOLA, Crescent City Steakhouse. From the moment u walk in u are brought back in time. The ambiance is fantastic. From the little private booths to the old juke... More

This is one of those restaurants that people talk about, it's been there for years and has always had good reports. The dining room is classic in design, with 3 little booths, completely separate to the main room which would be fun to book into with friends. The steaks were all delicious. I had the rib-eye, it was really good,... More

We arrived at the steakhouse by taxi as we were told by several you should not walk there. Entering the steakhouse was like a trip back in time. We both had the 10 ounce filet which was excellent for $27 compared to some of the other steakhouses (Ruth Chris etc ) that charge $37 to $47 for a 6 ounce... More

This is an old fashioned steak house. In decor, service and quality. We went here a dozen years ago and loved it. Added it to our list for this trip hoping it would be as good. It sure was. The place was renovated. Instead of looking like 1940's it was like 1950's. Don't let that fool you though. Around the... More

My and I were visiting friends for Mardi Gras and per tradition we ate a big meal on Fat Tuesday. Our service and food were fantastic as always.

I really think they only do steak here. The Porterhouse is plenty for two, sizzling hot with perfect seasoning. I love their creamed spinach and had one of the best baked potatoes I have had in the city. Some people just can't do a good potato. Hometown original.

Well, we tried this place out for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night, reservation highly recommended. The restaurant sits on Broad Av, located in Mid-City, not the typical location for a restaurant since all other are mainly downtown. The restaurant is old, but has had some recent renovation done to the waiting area, so don’t be fooled by the... More

Our bar offers a wide array of quality liquors and liqueurs including single malt and blended scotches, bourbons, whiskeys, vodkas, and gins to name a few. We even have a specialty cocktail list which includes the Crescent City Martini, a Vojkovich family favorite that is made with a delectable, Croatian liqueur. Crescent City Steaks has been owned and operated by the Vojkovich family since Mr. John first opened the doors over 75 years ago, and his spirit lives on through the essence of family that transcends everything we do.
