My wife, Chris, and I have been enjoying New Orleans for over 10 years and try different restaurants on every trip. While we had passes by Broussard's many times we had never stopped until recently. What a wonderful treat we found! Ambiance, food and service were just exceptional and will rival any restaurant in in this wonderful city. Highly recommend... More

What you would expect an older fine dining establishment to be like except not at all pretentious. Only thing that could have made the meal better was being bitted outside but it was closed for a wedding party. We would go back.

It was particularly festive when we were there. St. Patrick's Day weekend and the Parade had just gone through the Quarter. Broussard's didn't disappoint ! Fabulous cocktails by a cool bartender named Paul. The meal was terrific with lots of Creole options as well as traditional foods. Service was tremendous. I can't say enough good things!

Bottomless mimosas, live jazz, outstanding service, and one of the cleanest, most well-kept places in the Quarter. We had a large group and Broussard's was friendly and accommodating. The food was some of the best we had on the trip, and the location is fantastic. The manager greeted us upon arrival, and was even around to help clear plates. Overall... More

We were in town the day after St. Patrick's Day, so the city was packed. We were fortunate to get a seat on the patio at Broussard's. The patio was so nice with a fountain and plenty of foliage. All the staff were so friendly. We had three staff members that waited on us, so we had plenty of attention.... More

We made reservations a few weeks early after having Broussard's recommended by a friend. We took care to arrive 10-15 minutes early and we were greeted and asked to wait at the bar until our table was ready. The bartender that was in was wonderful and told us that he had only been there about a month. About 20 minutes... More

We had heard the hype about this restaurant. I can't even begin to express the disappointment this place is. The service was so bad it took us 3 hours to get through the evening. We had reservations and arrived a couple of minutes early. They were not ready at the time and asked us to have a seat at the... More

We dined here on St. Pat's Day, and there were several large tables and a bachelorette party...a bit noisy. But the room transports you back to antebellum NOLA and we especially like the charcuterie plate--delicious duck pate!--and bananas foster table side!

This is a very nice and quiet place despite of the fact that it is only a half a block from the noisy Bourbon St in the French Quarter. The ambiance is very nice and the decoration is beautiful. The service was very good, the servers were attentive and friendly. The food was very good too, I had the Broussard's... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
