We wandered in after the restaurant i picked was full. Comfortable, quite, just off loud raucous Bourbon Street, almost an oasis of calm.. lots of space but we like to eat at the bar. I ordered the pork chop, cooked perfectly and very juicy. I admit...i am not an adventurous eater so had the apple glaze on the side, was perfectly seasoned and didn’t need it. My partner got the redfish and I tried it.. lovely. The man next to me ordered it and it he ate it all, we joked he should have put the lemon in the Togo box.. it was a nice experience lovely bartenders and great atmosphere.More

I found mixed reviews and decided to try it any way. I am so glad I did. We had brunch on New Year's Eve and it was perfect from beginning to end! The hostess was very welcoming. They gave us a perfect corner table as...I requested when I made the reservation. They even gave us a delicious amuse bouche for our Anniversary! Our appetizers were Duck and Andouille Gumbo and Deviled Eggs. Both were lovely! The entrees were terrific (and the portions were larger than I expected!). Hubby had Croque Madame Rosalie and I had the Satsuma Creamsicle Pain Perdu. Absolutely delicious! Ambiance was great! The jazz band sang a special song for us and sang at each table. Had Grand Marnier Creme Brulee and Cafe Brulot Diabolique for dessert. The presentation was wonderful! Our servers, Lindsey and Selena provided perfect service! Just an excellent experience all around. We will definitely be back!More

The service was good helping us but toward the end of the meal (and there were still about 6 parties in the side long room with us so though it was the end of the night, it was not clean up time) they started stacking...every unused chair in the dining room. It sounded like they were getting ready for the next day large party but them dragging (loudly) large stacks of chairs through the room made everyone feel rushed and it was not exactly an upscale atmosphere. The food was good (duck gnocchi, fish, steak), though the tofu was the weakest of the four. The Brie appetizer was bland (nothing to scoop with like crackers or bread). Bananas fosters fun though pricy (8 halves for $24). Overall glad to have tried.More

We are in our 6th year here in New Orleans, Covid is a little bit behind us (or we are learning to cope with it) and have decided it's time to try iconic restaurants we have not yet enjoyed. One word about Broussards- NO! I...am giving one star for the fact that our greeters were nice and our waiter was very professional. The food was the worst we have eaten in New Orleans, seriously. The wilted salad tasted as if it had been plated before lunch, the pumpkin bisque was thicker than a vegetable puree (though it tasted fine). The main courses, the "duck" my husband could not find except that piece of gristle in a think glop in the bowl was inedible and seriously unappetizing to look at and the tofu I had was just almost ok. Desserts were a bust- the crumble had been doused with vinegar (not joking- did someone grab a wrong bottle) and the cake was meh. We have had some terrific food here in town- Lisette and Achafayala are favorites and Shaya's restaurant is fabulous. El Pavo is a terrific Mexican restaurant.Susan Spicer is an amazing chef. Commanders is OK and Upperline was good when it was open. So I guess we will do better research before our next outing! Here is to good dining in NOLA.More

Sat in the bar area during happy hour. My sister and I tried several different signature drinks. $5 during happy hour. The price allowed us to try things we normally would not have. Had a few of their delicious appetizers too. So good.

We ate here after reading reviews and it was worth every penny!!! We tried multiple dishes as qe are big foodies. The oysters are insanely good. I wish i could have ordered 50 more, they will convert you even if you hate seafood. The crab...cake was moist and full of flavour. The mussles and alligator sausage came in the most delicious stock I've ever had. We also had the crawfish on fried green tomato and croquettes. Easily the best bread pudding I had during my time in New Orleans also. Could not rave enough about the food. The dining area is also a nice change from the small dark pub like resturants around the French quater. A little more pricey as its a bit more fancy then a lot of the other resturants but worth every cent.More

We had a big area in one of the back rooms for a group of 18 for brunch. The band was so much fun and serenaded us. It was great that not everyone had to do bottomless drinks if they didn't want to. Food was...delicious, and they were easy to work with in setting everything up, giving us flexible options if we wanted to order off the menu or plan ahead with private dining setup. We chose to order off the menu and it went great. Highly recommend!More

New Orleans has some of the best food in the nation. When visiting, you rely on the main key players for so many years. This establishment is proof that the workforce has gone downhill. The food coming out of the kitchen was absolutely awful. All...of our salads were missing dressings that we had to ask for twice, our white wine was hot, and after asking the manager several times to make it right it fell on deaf ears. I stood at the bar and was never asked if she could help me since she was in a rush to leave. It’s unfortunate this icon of a restaurant in NOLA is a memory.More

Complete disappointment. We went for dinner for my birthday during a visit to New Orleans, my husband even informed the restaurant that it was a special occasion. We have been left to wait for our table for more than 15 mins at the entrance. The...service was sloppy and disinterested, really not at the level of many if not all the restaurants we have visited in the city. The food was over seasoned and heavy, again not at the level of any of the other places we visited. Overall a really depressing experience.More

All I can say is this restaurant proved why it’s been around so long. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted as if some old friends welcomed us. The red fish meal I ordered was sooo good! Kailyn was our server and...she was very knowledgeable and friendly. I asked about items on the menu and her description made me want to order everything. I will definitely go again when I come back to New Orleans and you should too!!!More

Fantastic Saturday brunch. The food was exceptional - presented beautiful on plate and served w wonderful attention to detail. Drinks were never empty and folks seemed happy to work there and serve guests. The manager was full of energy and checked on table. Can’t remember...names exactly … but Lenzy/tiffany ? Sommers? All did a fantastic job. Can’t say enough - history is also worth reading about. They have a wisteria vine planted in 1800’s!!! Crazy . Highly recommendMore

One of us was not feeling well and our awesome sweet server, Lindsey, brought her a club soda with bitters. Made her feel much better. Thank...you Lindsey. I am not sure if there is an actual dress code. We went to brunch on a Sunday and I wore a sundress and my husband wore a slacks and button down shirt.
