Had the shrimp aurnaud as suggested by a local of 70 years who said it was the best around. I've never had it and it was FABULOUS. It's an appetizer but I ate it for a meal. Comes with lettuce and tomato & if you get all three in a bite together it's the perfect amount of flavor and crunch.... More

A must stop on Bourbon St. Quick service, not overpriced, Good selection, The dough for the pizza and crawfish pie were fresh. We had Crawfish pie. shrimp gumbo, Muffaletta pizza and smoked boudin. Delicious! All for less than $50. Servers were very attentive, Thanks Karl!

We were in New Orleans in July 2016, and we were looking for a good place to eat in the French Quarter. We decided to try Arnaud's Remoulade, since the menu was enticing and prices were reasonable. My wife had the Shrimp Creole, which she loved, and I had the Jambalaya. I was given a choice of mild, medium, or... More

Open for dining also late when we needed it! No surprises really, but we had fast and friendly service and the food was very good, we tried the gumbo and stuffed crab. Might not be as classy as some of the neighbours, but not an issue for us at least, modest pricing helps too.

First night in New Orleans and we felt we needed to jump right into regional cuisine. We decided on Remoulade for its "tasting" options. We ordered two : the Taste of the Bayou, a bowl of filé gumbo followed by one crawfish pie and half an order of jambalaya, and the Taste of Louisiana, a bowl of turtle soup followed... More

We ate here when we last visited New Orleans a few years ago, and since it was so good, we had to come here for our first meal when we got into town this time. The Bar B Que shrimp is fantastic; a little messy but totally worth it. Our server was really good, I wish I could remember his... More

the food was very delicious. I had the Remoulade burger and my mom had taste of new orleans and they were both fantastic. If you're into alcohol you have to try their swamp water.

We generally maintain a rule of only eating once per trip at any restaurant. We broke that rule for Remoulade. After having a dinner of oysters and jambalaya, we returned the next day for lunch to have po-boys. All the food was great and the service excellent.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
