Stopped in for some drinks and food while strolling around the Quarter. The Shrimp Arnaud was very good and the remoulade sauce was excellent. We also enjoyed the Smoked Boudin very much--actually it was the best we were able to sample while in the city. Both were very reasonably priced as well--somewhat of a rarity in the area. Would definitely... More

We were overwhelmed trying to chose somewhere to eat and I am disappointed we ended up here. The restaurant felt dirty and the food was just average. There are too many other great choices....don't waste your time here.

Stopped at Remoulade for lunch on a cool Saturday. A very clean, pleasant place for lunch. Ashley was our server and she was outstanding. My wife had the shrimp po boy and I had the meat pie. Both were excellent and we found the French fries to be the best around. Everything about our lunch was excellent. We highly recommend... More

Visited this establishment on a culinary tour - excellent. The turtle soup was the best ever and the remoulade sauce on the shrimp is to die for. Served with a crusty French bread, who could ask for more. A must place to go.

We stopped here for a drink and appetizer. The drinks were good and the food was excellent. We stopped here three times while in New Orleans for a week. The bartenders and wait staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Even if you don't like oysters, try their Parmesan broiled oysters. Wonderful. Writing this review makes me want to go... Stopped in for a bite and glad we did. Food was delicious. We had bbq shrimp, stuffed crab and a pizza. Split a brownie, they didnt have access to ice cream but used the most amazing homeade white chocolate whipped cream.

We were in New Orleans for only three days and there is so many places to eat. We tried the Remoulade and we're pleased with all we had. This being said we went there again on our last night. Our Tuesday night waiter was particularly good and attentive to our requirements.

After walking in the French Quarter, we stopped in at the Remoulade Restaurant on Bourbon Street. The food selections were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had a few draft beers and gumbo for starters. It was very tasty! Then we ordered Oyster Po boys. So delicious and filling. Great experience for lunch!

Yes it's full of tourists but locals go here too for moderately priced food that's a cut above most touristy restaurants. Good selection of local dishes, nice place to let visitors try some things they're not going to find at home like jambalaya, crawfish pie, and file gumbo

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
