This was our perfect picnic prep stop for Audubon Park. Easy to find off the Green Line at Carrolton & Hunt. Ordered a few nice sandwiches, cold drinks and a dessert. All wrapped up in a double bag, with extra napkins and utensils. About as...close to a homemade picnic basket as they could get! TIP: Just a few minutes pass the Park and few hundred yards from the track.More

After living in New Orleans for 4 years, this is hands down my favorite place. This is the kind of place where the waitresses and owner know you name and your order. Get the eggs Sardou (the hollandaise sauce is incredible) and the strawberry banana...juice. If you’re extra hungry, ordered the grilled blue berry muffin. When we moved away we went to Pepperoni’s for one last breakfast. The waitress brought us free chocolate cake with a frown face in chocolate sauce. The cake was delicious! We just recently got married in New Orleans and came back the day after our wedding— three years after moving— for our favorite meal. It was as if nothing had changed! The owner brought us free champagne and chocolate cake and talked to us for a long time. This is the type of place you always are looking for- a place that can be your spot. The owners couldn’t be nice. It has a family feel to it and the food is just delicious.More

This is a great, informal dinner spot. Three of us selected a large pizza which to share & it was very good. Left there with 1 piece to take home. Was a fun night with banjo players & singers. Enjoyed the music & atmosphere..

We didnt know anything about this place and assumed it was just a pizza place. While looking at the options for breakfast on this block we saw the sign for breakfast and decided to try it since the wife was in mood for huevos rancheros....We both had this dish and it was perfectly cooked. They even added sausage patty to mine since I wanted a meat too. I also had some fresh mango juice to boot. The owner was very nice and we will make the drive to try the pizza with the family.More

Traveling with kids, it was not too easy to find a family friendly, and not-fast food chain in New Orleans. This one is a real gem. It's a relatively small place. The food is simple but tasty and filling, staff super nice, short wait time....They went above and beyond to please us. Would highly recommend especially for families.More

We were looking for somewhere to eat breakfast and found this great restaurant. My wife had the bananas foster French toast and I had the eggs Benedict which were both very good. The waitress was very responsive and we received our food quickly.

A better breakfast than other established cafes and grills in the vicinity, going that little bit further in selection and presentation. The staff were very polite and very attentive. A lot of the locals were using the place, and a few taxicabs parked up ..... . and they know where to eat.More

This place is right across the street from Refuel...one of the best breakfast places I have ever eaten in. We only went here because we could not get in there. This is a pizza joint that serves breakfast only because they are cashing in on...the overflow from across the street. I got a typical bacon and eggs breakfast....very disappointing. I could have eaten the free breakfast at the Hampton Inn and come out just as well. My husband got the Huevos Rancheros and said it was good. So, my recommendation is this...if you can, eat breakfast across the street, if you have to come here, don't get the traditional American breakfast, go for one of the latin breakfast choices.More

This is a place many would not expect to be this tasty. The setting is very informal with a family friendly atmosphere. We selected many dishes from a wide variety of breakfast items. The recommended choice today was the Bananas Foster French Toast. It was...delicious. Coffee refills are close at hand, and all the service was very attentive.More

I've been there twice with my son. Both times, we had a great breakfast. The servers where very friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for a table. Some of us ordered sandwiches and they enjoyed what they had. I am a breakfast...guy and they did a very good job. The only thing that I wished they had would be biscuits instead of toast. Very good and inexpensive place to eat.More

I just stumbled on this place and it was a pleasant surprise. The seating and inside is very clean and pleasant. The chicken Panini was prepared quickly and was excellent. The pizza to go was also excellent. I was also impressed with the helpful service.

Not a very big restaurant but very clean. Had orange juice for a drink and if it wasn't fresh squeezed they sure fooled me. We had a complimentary basket of breadsticks with marinara for an appetizer. Breadsticks were hot and buttery and the marinara was...a nice smooth sauce that tasted very fresh. I had the Pepperoni Special which was a Panini with salami pepperoni and ham, dressed with mayo lettuce and tomatoes. It was VERY good with a lot of meat; the flatbread was fresh as well. Wife had pancakes, bacon and the best grits I have ever eaten in my life; they were very smooth and creamy. Service was excellent and out bill was $25 tip included.More
