I just had the carnitas! They were the best I've ever had! A live band was playing while I waited. Awesome place!

Frenchmens Street is a great alternative to Bourbon street. The crowds are much smaller and a lot less rowdy. We were treated to some great music by Revival, who covered several Janis Joplin tunes. The menu included tacos, pizza and some local seafood specialties, which were fairly good. This is a fun place to start your evening out.

I went bar hopping in Frenchmen Street for about a week straight, and it was a fine place to listen to good music. We listened to a lot of funk, blues and jazz, and it was very authentical.

Saw (2) bands play here. Both were amazing and both put on quite a diverse show. The musicians were very talented and it was a great NOLA experience. The bar gets packed later on. But it's not too crowded. The musicians that they get in this bar are just amazing and I recommend stopping in here for some great music... More

We stopped here on a whim and ended up having the best night of our vacation! Drinks were cold and a good price, place was packed, and Twisted Dixie was great entertainment and their frontman was a blast! Would come back anytime!!

It was late, we were hungry and wandered in here by chance....we were not in the least disappointed by this accident and will for sure return. I had the pineapple pork taco salad and it was so delicious. Loved the music and the fun atmospher

Oooh we love your title. "A delightful accident"! We recently won 2nd place for "Best Late Night Dining" but it seems many don't realize Ruben's Taco Truck is in Cafe Negril and you can get a steal of a meal. Thanks for sharing your experience! More

We were here on a Saturday night just walking down Frenchmen Street for our second night and we had not been in Cafe Negril yet so decided to go in for the music. Very good band playing and stayed for a few drinks. Love this area of town.

As we were strolling along Frenchman St., the music coming out of this bar drew us in. We ended up staying there the rest of the night. The band was In Business. They were very good, the cocktails even better. The lead vocalist had an amazing range, the horn section was tight, as was the rest of the band. brought... More
