We absolutely loved New Orleans and particularly Frenchman street, where this bar is located. However the Marigny was an exception. The drinks were overpriced and poorly made, the staff were particularly rude and unhelpful, and the music was also the worst we heard all evening.

So glad we came here! We stayed in a rental nearby and hoped to have dinner and see some live music close to our place. This place was perfect! Quick, friendly service and the red beans and rice were delish. Would definitely go again, next time I'm in New Orleans.

because the jazz and food are great. We did not know where to eat on Frenchman Street and this place seemed different. Art is all over the walls and jazz is not so loud that you can't talk to the people at your table. I had the crawfish fritters and the bowl of soup for the day.

A fun and a little funky place. Nice weather, eat on the sidewalk. Plenty of room inside. Food is good, but not anything special. Very relaxed.

We stopped in here for a quick cocktail, and listen to some music that sounded good from the street. The cocktails we ordered, were very strong, not that is a bad thing. I had a dark & stormy, the was more rum then ginger beer : ) The band that was playing were quite good, so we stayed for a... More

Wandering in the quarter we came upon Marigny Brasserie and seeing the Abita sign we sat down! We enjoyed a couple of pints of Abita Amber, the free wifi and the air conditioning. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day with our friends for more beer, the ribeye steaks and the crawfish etouffe. All very good. I... More

The location on Frenchman Street is great for the music clubs. The food was good - we had the fish tacos which were good but should have had some of the "sides" that go with tacos - eg avocado, sour cream etc

We had a day of touring the city, skipped lunch but get to Marigny early around 6pm. No crowds yet - but the music was on already. Ordered seafood gumbo and grilled shrimp and grits to share. Wonderful flavor of gumbo, the hush puppies were GREAT! Best grits I had in a long while. Shrimp were fresh and flavorful. Fast... More

6 of us visited Frenchmens St. at around 7:00 PM on a Friday night. The street was very active with crowds of people and lots of music. We decided to try the Marigny. Surprisingly we were greeted and seated immediately. The service was perfect, fast and efficient. We ordered mostly Creole quisine. They definitely did an excellent job of preparation... More
