We ate at this restaurant before going to a show at the Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro. It is very close. The service was spectacular and the food was authentic, old-fashioned New Orleans fare. We enjoyed it a lot

We stopped at this restaurant during our visit to Frenchman street. The food was good and they had a band singing. Atmospherically, it was loud. Our table was in the middle of the floor near the bathroom and kitchen so i was constantly being bumped into by the wait staff or patrons. Choose a booth or a table near the... More

I must be getting old. The volume is almost ear splitting but the music is very, very good. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed. Prices are reasonable for a venue with live music

We hiked around frenchman on a blazing hot afternoon trying to find some great food and we found it! I had BBQ Shrimp and Grits, they were great. I also had some sort of Mama's Moonshine, it was delish. Make it a stop on your next visit!!

If you want a quiet place for a romantic dinner, the Marigny Brasserie is not the place to go. But if you want to enjoy good food and listen to great live music at the same time, than this is definitely the place to be. In the back of the restaurant the music is a little less loud so you... More

For starters, the manager started off by saying something rude about someone else that was walking in. As if we would think it was funny. It wasn't. Then next we were sat down at one table, realized the gay pride parade was going on so we politely asked if we could move tables to sit near the window so we... More

Leanna, Let me start off by apologizing for your recent experience at my restaurant. I can assure you that this isn't the type of experience I wish for anyone to have! I can tell you that you weren't the only one who heard an employee say something to a customer at the door. I heard my server mumble something and... More

Oh yes! I'd come back to this place in a heartbeat. First the food is melt-in-your-mouth-finger-licking gorgeous. Second the music is foot tapping, head rocking, hand clapping, sing-a-long fantastic. And third, the staff are brilliant. Just go there.

I ate here 3 times during a 5-day stay. The host is gracious. Bar up front with fine dining in the rear. Great entertainment. The food was among the BEST I had in New Orleans. The seafood platter is divine and I still dream of their fried oysters, which I wasn't a fan of prior. Don't leave without trying the... More
