For fans of the film and southern food fans a like this is an extremely good place to eat out. All around the restaurant there are little jokes from the film that kept me smiling. The food was delicious, our waitress was friendly and also...More

If you like seafood, try Bubba Gumps. It's part of the Landry chain of restaurants and the food is good and the prices are average.

Nothing special. Just a typical chain restaurant with mediocre food. Being huge fans of the Forrest Gump movie, it was worth going just to see the memorabilia.

Sometimes even when you're in a city known for excellent cuisine like NOLA, you end up at a national chain restaurant for one reason or another. Going to a Bubba Gump's in the French Quarter is perhaps a lesser transgression than going to a McDonald's...More

Just a block from our hotel, this was a no-brainer... The crab legs were DE-lish. If the weather is agreeable, ask for a table on the balcony.

Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, main courses arrived whilst we were eating appetisers (which the staff did not seem to find unusual!!), the margaritas tasted like water,we were overcharged for drinks and the inside of the building was unpleasant, especially the stairs. The bill...More

We all had a good meal. They were out of the grilled food I wanted so I had a salad. The shrimp was skimpy on the salad, but everyone else like their food. Drinks were good and so was the atmosphere. Might try again.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great

There's many more restaurants around there to satisfy your taste. You should've recorded it on your cell and post it on their facebook site, Bubba Gump Corp would've freaked to see one of their restaurants closing... More

Assuming you mean Cafe Du Monde off Jackson Square, 3-4 blocks straight down (up?) Decatur. A fairly easy stroll with lots of shops and interesting sights.
