We had a wonderful lunch! The oysters appetizers where amazing! The price for lunch was the year, so our lunch cost us $20.16 each and next year it will be raised to $20.17. After lunch the waiter gave us a tour. He really spent a lot of time with us and the place is very spacious and interesting.

Worst oysters Rockerfeller and Escargot ever tasted. And Antoines is supposed to be creator of the dish?? Green mush topping. Not even spinach! Poor tasting pesto. Same for snails. 5 fish dishes in group and only one was tasty. Filet mignonette was good. Poor quality and overpriced. Waiter Chuck was memorable and conducted a good tour. Many and spacious individual... More

Terry and Michael were both serving us at a table in a room, which used to be a prison, before Antoine's went in there. This 'prison' wasn't a torture at all. Both gentlemen were blessed with great sense of humour and had great sense for service. Excellent food suggestions by both Gentlemen and a service, which was fantastic! Food was... More

A trip to new Orleans is not complete without a trip to Antoines. It seats 1250 people but can still feel intimate because of the many smaller dining rooms. The three course lunch for $20.00 is amazing and add a .25 Martini what a bargain. If your not in the mood to dress up have lunch in the stunning Hermes bar with its... I was here for a conference dinner and we're given excellent service and an array of delicious foods. I was elated to finally eat authentic Oysters Rockefeller and it was excellent . The beef was cooked perfectly medium and the shrimp was also great . The building has a unique design and pictures on the walls give a glimpse into... More

Brunch menu was fantastic! Both food and service were great. 25 cent drinks were awesome! Definitely do the brunch menu if you can.

We went for lunch and had a lovely time. The waiter suggested a special not on the menu (a sampling of different oyster preparations) and it was exactly what we wanted. We had well prepared cocktails and enjoyed the ambiance of the palatial room. When we asked the waiter a question about one of the rooms, he graciously offered to... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
