We rang in 2017 at this quintessential NOLA establishment. The food is divine and the atmosphere classy. I loved the jazz and people watching!

We were in New Orleans, so we wanted to eat at Antoine's. It is the oldest family owned restaurant - the family has owned it since 1840. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely. Make reservations. As expected, it was not inexpensive, but we had planned for that. A big bonus, our waiter was helped by the great, great,... More

Antoine's is a once in a lifetime experience! 175 years of history and just unbelievable. It can be a little pricey but you can't beat there 3 course lunch special for 20.17 and anyone can afford that. We were celebrating our Grandsons' 21st birthday and he tells us this meal was the highlight of his trip! They even did a... More

Antoine's 20.17 lunch is lovely just the right amount of food in a beautiful old establishment. Don't miss the rooms in the back and the wine cellar the walls are covered in history. And let's not forget the cocktail of the day for$.25

This was the best lunch I have ever had! I still dream about the charbroiled oysters. You get a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert and a 25 cent cocktail. Afterwards, you're free to explore the many dining rooms and learn about Mardi Gras and New Orleans history. Oh, you can ask to be seated in your choice of available... More

Visited Antoine's over Mardi Gras season with a group of friends. The service was excellent and the food was good. Just about everything was fried in butter or covered with cheese. Not a great choice for someone looking for healthy options, but hits the spot if you're looking for a hearty meal. Our servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about... More

We visited for lunch on a Monday after a walking tour. The waitstaff made us feel very welcome eventhough we were quite casually dressed. Staff was very friendly and spent time speaking with us. Very nice authentic New Orleans Atmosphere and a wonderful building with many artifacts, and photos and enjoy. We both had selections off the 2017 winter lunch... More

We are here our first night in New Orleans, and our waitress made the experience memorable. Thanks to Shalacie and her helper Kreg. We loved our evening with you.

The food is that good and you are dining in a restuarent that have been serving great food since 1840. Still in the family after serving meals during the Civil War, (think about that) WW1. and WW2, The walls say it all and the food tells you that they learned long ago how to make you smile.....You need to go... Four friends stopped here for drinks after a late lunch. The restaurant is located half a block off Bourbon Street, and those few steps make all the difference in the world in decibels. Conversation doesn't have to be at shouting volume. The fireplace warmed the pub area nicely on a very chilly afternoon. We were delighted to learn that we'd... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
