Wonderful lunch. $20.16, with lunch prices rising to $20.17 next year. I had the potato soup, fried drum, and bread pudding along with the .25 cent cocktail. Best fried fish I've ever eaten. Reasonable lunch portions. The food was good, but the experience is the reason you should go to Antoines. The old building is 15 rooms of Antoine's- each... More

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect besides what I read in other reviews and word of mouth from staff at our hotel. I highly recommend going to this place. Although lunch time is a bit more casual (meaning they will accept casual) I would still make sure that you're wearing proper attire. The décor in this restaurant is great... More

We enjoyed a fine dining experience with our teen daughter. Our table had shrimp cocktail, and escargot for appetizers. For main courses, soft shell crab and filet amandine. Creamed spinach as a side. Food was outstanding and the wait staff were attentive and professional. Our waiter gave us a lovely tour of the entire restaurant after our meal. Very nice... More

We were definitely underdressed, we found that out when we arrived. But we became very comfortable when we were not treated differently from anyone else. The table setting was beautiful, our server (Sterling) was a riot, he's been there for 49 years! The drinks were impeccable, the food was very good, the bread, sides, everything was just the best. I... More

Reminds me of the old rich... :) everything from the appetizer to the dessert was just delicious. Had the cold potato soup, Vichyssoise (no, i didnt pretend i knew how to promounce it haha) for my appetizer and oysters bonne femme for my entree, sundae for dessert. Also took advantage of $ 0.25 cocktail. My brother in law who is... More

For all the amazing food in New Orleans, there seems to be a casual attitude at most spots, but here we felt the old school elegance of a solid restaurant. The service was very good, our waiter was quite attentive. Being that I wasn't too hungry I went straight to the main course. My wife tried the Oyster Rockefeller and... More

Antoine's was part of many restaurants participating in Coolinary 2016. They had discounted lunch and dinner menus. Our lunch special price was $20.16. I had charbroiled oysters and Louisiana drum Florentine. The oysters were so delicious, they had a garlic sauce on them. The drum, which is a fish was breaded lightly and served with a hollandaise sauce. The drum... More

Attended a Sunday Jazz Brunch. Antoine's is a gorgeous location steeped in history, and offers excellent, top notch service. After our meal, our amazing waiter Terry even gave us a tour of the many gorgeous dining rooms. Tip your hardworking wait staff well.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
