My daughter and I sent on a Saturday night. It was festive , delicious and had great service. The California rolls, upside down rolls and New Zealand wine were to die for

My favorite rolls are the LSU Roll and the Rockn' Roll. It's always moderately busy but they get you in and out quickly also. We enjoy the atmosphere and great sushi. Their seaweed salad is excellent as well. The salad dressings are made in house and are very good. No reservations allowed but we try to go about 5pm -... More

My husband and I frequent this place because their sushi chef Benny Tampubolom. He knows how to customize the food for regulars like us. He is super nice and knowledgable about sushi and sashimi as well as many different types of cooking with fish. The restaurant music is a bit loud for our taste, but it is for a younger... More

It's loud, it's busy, and I really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a quiet evening this is not the place to go. If you want great sushi, great music, and great service then I recommend Rockn' Saki. We had a party of twenty and they did a great job with us. Will be back.

Your basic standard sushi restaurant including the prices. Not a great drink menu. The sushi was good but nothing I couldn't have gotten at a sushi place at home.

I have eaten at Rockn' Sake several times. They have the freshest sushi in town. The sushi chefs are very talented and have a great personality. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar. They have some very interesting dishes that are sure to please. On Tuesday nights they have specials. They offer the LSU roll for $5 (ordinarily $13) -... More

One person in our party was recovering from a stroke and needed some assistance getting to the table- it's loud, dark, and busy in this restaurant. The manager made a sweeping assumption that he was intoxicated and instructed the server to not serve him alcohol. This offended everyone in the group. The manager could have come to talk with us... Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighborhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
