Somehow, not so impressed. I mean I liked the food and atmosphere. A bit overpriced. Average service at best.

We went for dinner. Ordered spicy chicken biriyani. They asked Indian spicy or normal spicy. We replied as Indian spicy. After a long time they brought a biriyani. We couldn't eat because he mixed the raw chilly sauce instead of spicy chicken masala. When we...More

Established in 1982

Welcome to the Nirvana Indian Cuisine. Please take a few minutes to look around. The paintings and sculptures you are seeing are windows to India's ancient spiritual world. After visiting the curry houses of Europe, especially of London, my late father (Har G. Keswani) was inspired to bring Indian culture and food to New Orleans. Since 1982, the Keswani family has presented the unique cuisine of India to the New Orleans community.
Enjoy your piece of Nirvana
