With reservation, we were seated in pretty main room, but it is not nearly as atmospheric and beautiful as the garden setting in the back, inside or out. I wish I'd asked, even to wait. Brunch was ok. Standard Champagne cocktail. Service was fine. Their...More

We enjoyed our lunch very much. We had Eggs Benedict. Our friends thought the Canadian bacon was the best they had eaten. My husband liked the gumbo he ordered. They had great mixed drinks. My favorite thing was the Caribbean milk punch. In fact, I...More

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Brennan’s, and it was as special as we had hoped it would be. The food and drinks were delicious, the service was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Definitely get the Bananas Foster, it’s absolutely worth it!

Brennan's is an institution on Royal Street in the French Quarter. Sometimes places that have been around for so long can have their quality decline. I was happy to see that Brennan's continues to maintain the same high standards of food, drinks and service. It...More

Visited Brennan's with a group of 8 friends for dinner during a bachelorette party. We made reservations in advance so we did not have to wait long after arriving. We'd had some amazing food during our NOLA weekend and Brennan's was no exception. I had...More

Brennan's is a truly upscale restaurant with very good food. The setting was elegant, yet comfortable with pleasant surroundings, comfortable chairs and reasonable noise levels. The wait staff was terrific, we had at least four different people looking after us, all were attentive, friendly, efficient...More

Had a wonderful late brunch at Brennan's with old friends. The food was wonderful, but the service was even better. Brennan's continues to be a bucket list destination for travelers. Don't miss it!

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I would recommend lunch or brunch. They are know for their Eggs Benedict with several variations, the turtle soup, and the Bananas Foster.

Description
The original Brennan's, opened in 1946, recently emerged from an extensive renovation that spared no effort or expense by new co-owners Terry White and Ralph Brennan. Eight glamorous dining rooms, each steeped in New Orleans architecture and ambiance, celebrate the opulence of dining in a city where breakfast revelry is taken as seriously as a decadent dinner. Acclaimed Chef Slade Rushing's menus are rooted in Creole traditions and are bolstered with contemporary New Orleans influences. Marrying classic and modern techniques yields a decidedly innovative approach and enhances our local, seasonal offerings. Brennan's old-world elegance, fanciful decor and pampering service create a unique and sophisticated backdrop for a most memorable meal. Welcome!
