Great service, knowledgeable sommelier. Great food combination without exageration.the venison was delicately surrounded by the most thin crusty bacon slices. The desert a ball of white chocolate melts and opens like a flower when the hot chocolate sauce was poured.

Wow! This had to have been one of the best breakfast experiences we've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in we knew there was going to be great attention to detail. Service was perfect. Food was so flavorful. Great breakfast cocktails and Espresso. We had the Vanilla French Toast, Eggs Benedict and an Omelette. We received... More

Today our family of 6 enjoyed a special breakfast at Brennan's. 45 years ago this was the place to be seen but had fallen from its perch up until a few years ago when Ralph Brennan purchased the restaurant out of bankruptcy. Well the old Brennan's is back and better than ever! First the atmosphere sphere in Main Dining room... More

I chose Brennan's to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was the best decision I've made in all 30 of my years. They were very accommodating and sat us at a great table. The service was impeccable and we felt completely cared for but not intruded on. I honestly don't think you will be disappointed with anything on this menu... More

Disclaimer: I an a New Orleans, with a bias for the best cooking in the world—and I have traveled the world. They say Brennan's for Breakfast, like Tiffany for Two. I have sampled the lunch here. Service excellent, food excellent plus. Priced accordingly

I attended Brennan's for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. For a 3 course, limited menu, I was extremely pleased with the quality and quantity of what I was served. There's nothing I dislike more than walking away from a fancy restaurant after paying a lot and still feeling hungry. But in a traditional thanksgiving fashion, I was stuffed! The restaurant... Wow. The service here is impeccable. Our bartenders, Rudy and Jeanette took the time to learn about our likes and dislikes and made us the perfect cocktails. I can't say enough about the hospitality. We were not fortunate enough to enjoy a full meal here (although they all looked amazing), but the two desserts we had (Bananas Foster and Bread... More

I hadn't been to this landmark restaurant for several years and decided to go for Thanksgiving dinner. We were so disappointed to have a very ordinary meal with sketchy service. We had to send the meal back once as it was cold. While there appeared to be plenty of service help, we had to ask more than once for our... More

I liked the food and service was great - waiter was kind of reluctant of giving recommendations - "not sure what you are looking for"... Well, when we go to a first class highly priced restaurant we are looking for something special and memorable, something we'll remember for a while. And, case in point, not sure I will remember what... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
