No matter what you choose everything is delicious. Go here before late Saints games or after for early games.

Early 1900 New Orleans had a large Sicilian immigrant population so there is good Sicilian food here. Venetia is one of the classic New Orleans restaurants. The House specialty pizza is the best pizza I have had in New Orleans.

Venezia was astounding. The chicken Parmesan that I had was superb. The price were very reasonable. The portion sizes were huge. The service was really great. In would highly recommend it.

I've tried other entrees but my favorite is the Double Cut Pork Chop available on Thursdays. It comes out sizzling hot so be careful with the hot plate.

Venezia's has been a consistent choice for classic New Orleans Sicilian style Italian food since the 1960's at least, when we lived in the neighborhood. The pizzas are still wonderful, and the "red gravy" dishes are exactly what you'd expect. Don't look for creativity here, just good old-fashioned food, really well done. Although the interiors were of necessity redone after... More

Packed with locals. My husband steak melt in your mouth. My special that the waiter recommended fantastic. My daughters pasta amazing!!! Wonderful... More

I've dined here several times over the many years I've lived in this city. Venezia was fine when I was young and naive about food. A good place to come with a group after work back then. But at some point I got over it. Didn't go for years. But have been coerced into going a couple of times in... More

Love Venezia. Consistently excellent... The veal with the dill sauce has my mouth watering just thinking about it. Get there early, or you're gonna wait. Family atmosphere and worth the wait

As a New Orleanean I've been hoarding this secret for years - I don't even bring houseguests if I think they're going to yap...But this is one of our fave family restaurants. Decadent and delicious food at a reasonable price, convenient location, kid friendly yet geared towards adults...The fish Catherine in a dill cream sauce with shrimp is dreamy, and... More
