We attempted Angeli On Decatur tonight. Big fail. When we arrived, no one greeted us so we waved to the bartender to see if we should seat ourself... "Yes, go right ahead". After sitting there, in plain sight for 10 minutes, the bartender said someone would be right with us. Another 5 or so minutes passed again before she came... More

I have eaten here more than 100 times, the food and service have always been great. DIVINE Portabella is my favorite.

They were out of meatballs and sauce for the gyros. The green salad is literally just romaine lettuce and the meat for the gyros resembled luncheon meat. My girls did enjoy their Pizza and calzone. It just disappointed me since reviews for this place were good.

There was only one waitress in the restaurant when I visited and they were waiting on some more staff, but she was doing her best, so I won't be too harsh on the service. We split a small chicken pesto pizza as a snack and we're pretty satisfied.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had and very reasonably priced. The Italian Feast sandwich is fabulous. We had a couple great meals from there. Our server, Jazzy, took great care of us, too. They also deliver...

Great little restaurant, food was excellent, prices good considering the location. We had pizza, calzone, and spaghetti w/meatballs. Recommend for families and others who need a break from seafood, Cajun, or Creole food.

Being from Chicago, I'm usually disappointed when I try pizza out of the area, but we decided to to try the four-cheese pizza here and it was fantastic. The crust was perfect. Small and interesting place. Local artwork for sale on wall. Well worth a visit.

We were looking for something to eat for dinner that was not to much money. We stopped here and we are glad that we did. I and my one of my daughters had a calzone, my mother and my other daughter had a gyro. The food was very good and you get a lot for the value, so if you... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
