We really enjoyed a wonderful dinner in a quaint neighborhood restaurant. Jo Ann Klebinger has an eclectic art collection displayed in the restaurant. Our server, Mark was very attentive but not intrusive or overbearing. The appetizers were great-- Fried Green Tomato and Crispy Oysters. My...More

For a restaurant which received in excess of 4.5 stars I would have to disagree. We had the 4 course tasting which included Turtle and Gumbo soup, Crispy Oysters and Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Duck and Drum with Lump Crab. I felt...More

Our family had the most wonderful Revillion dinner at the Upperline. We could not get to Nawlins until after Christmas and were SO happy that their offering continued through the end of the month. Between the four of us we had a good sampling across...More

Food was about a solid 4.6, excellent but not “outstanding” nor “heavenly.” We had the Reveillon menu and among our selections, the fried oyster app stood out. Very lightly breaded and fried perfectly to allow the oyster flavors to shine. Our duck and rack of...More

The food was good, not great. Our entree was served just as I put down my demitasse of soup, my wife was not finished with hers. Our server offered to keep her dinner warm: didn't happen. Pretty expensive and pretty pretentious, and frankly not worth...More

We had heard good things about Upperline and were eager to try it. It opens at 5:30, and that was the reservation time that we and several other parties were given, so lots of us arrived at the same time. We were told in advance...More

During December Upperline only offers the Reveillon Dinner menu. More selections than any other restaurant offering the Reveillon Dinners. We went with 3 couples and ordered a total of 6 entrees of the 10 offered. All were excellent. Service was excellent and the atmosphere great.

I don't remember seeing anyone in jeans. But khakis or something similar with a button up shirt is fine. Jackets not required.
