We ate here on October 14 and had a great experience. We were able to push our reservation back an hour at the last minute without issue. The service was great and the food was amazing. We both had the garlic encrusted drum and we loved it. The restaurant is three stories high and can get a little loud, but... More

You can get some typical New Orleans food here -- Macque Choux, for example -- with a hipper vibe, The Jalepeno corn bread you get when you sit down is wort the trip alone. Loved the catfish. We were well taken care of by Holly and her team of helpers.

I have been to New Orleans for the third year in a row! Wanting to go to NOLA for lunch but for whatever reason was unable to go - until now! I just love this place. The food was excellent - there were three of us and we wanted to "share" our food so that we could experience more of... More

Returning after many years for a meal, NOLA still shines. Excellent service, great food. Some delay in serving of courses, but great experience.

Team of waiters with a captain service your every need. From appetizer to salads to everything else, done to the nines. I had hickory smoked duck which was the most tender duck I ever tasted. Just fabulous.

This is one of Emeril's New Orleans restaurants, and really enjoyed the experience. Actually had set last minute reservations for the earliest they had available (though Open Table), but arrived about 2 hours earlier and asked whether we could get in (if not, would just hit a bar or two until the reservation time). As it turns out, they were... More

After trying to choose a nice restaurant in NO to visit, we chose NOLA and boy we were not disappointed. Had a great wine (Justin cab 2012 and we already have bought a bottle!) the service was amazing and the team who waited on us was lead by a fellow named John. Unfortunately, I do not remember the remaining 2... More

Had dinner here on Monday Oct 6. Choose this Emerils restaurant due to trip adviser reviews. Arrived 30 minutes early and was seated right away. Waiters were friendly and knowledgable of the menu. Appetizers and salads came very quickly. Long wait til entrees arrived and manager came over to apologize. Red fish was better than GW Fins. Fried Chicken was... More

First meal in New Orleans reserved on Open Table as we disembarked from the plane. Very trendy but friendly, food was fabulous. Sure it's pricey but it's worth it. Cocktails were creative. Would like to do dinner here next time.

One of the best meals I've had in a while. Very positive experience all around, the service was excellent, nice airy dining area, well prepared drinks and delicious food. What more can you ask for?

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
