About
NOLA is chef/restaurateur Emeril Lagasse’s casual eatery in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Open since 1992, the critically-acclaimed restaurant fuses traditional Creole, Acadian and Southern cuisine with global influences. Chef de Cuisine Philip Buccieri works closely with Chef Emeril to create an innovative menu showcasing rustic Louisiana cooking with local ingredients and some ethnic twists. The three-story restaurant features an open-action kitchen, chef’s food bar and a signature wood-fired brick oven. NOLA was renovated in 2017 and is now open daily at 11:30 am serving one menu for lunch and dinner.

I usually avoid celebrity chef restaurants as they never live up to the hype. However, we found ourselves just arriving in NO without reservations and found an opening at NOLA. Wow, was this meal great! The tuna crudo appetizer was amazing and the drum entrée,...More

Great atmosphere, great wait staff and friendly management. My partner found the frog legs too spicy (I loved them) so they brought her chicken wings without even asking. It's a management style sorely missing from most food establishments in the USA. The shrimp and grits...More

Outstanding cuisine for sure. Everything we had was delicious! Would love to come back and keep trying more choices. Service was great in the bar area, although took awhile to get to us at first. Hostesses had a bit of an attitude.

This was the perfect environment for lingering over our meal. We were adventurous given we are all out of towners. Started with octopus, gumbo, stuffed chicken wing and loved it all. Moved on to braised short rib, shrimp and grits and other plates equally as...More

The steak was better than anything we get at home and that’s a big statement coming from Aussies! Pork nachos were utterly perfect. Food is great by American standards.

Good food, made with good ingredients and prepared well. The service was incredible, and the desserts were absolutely amazing. We had a nice view of the street and the entrance from our 2nd-floor table. While we absolutely enjoyed everything about this dining experience, we probably...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Casual attire is certainly acceptable. It is in the middle of an area that caters to visitors and you can be very comfortable there no matter what you wear.
