I really thought that NOLA was basically a New Orleans canjun restaurant but it isn't. The food is pretty good but if you're looking for canjun cooking, you need to go somewhere else. The restaurant was very nice, staff did a good job & food pretty good - not great. Love the atmosphere & great service.

First stop on a recent visit to NOLA. Got seated at the food bar and after an app we ordered tjhe same main course which was a special that night. Took some time coming out , but finally arrived. I think what happened is that someone left it in the oven too long so the entree was sort of overdone.... More

We celebrated our 10th anniversary here. It was our first time dining here and it definitely won't be our last. I had the buttermilk fried chicken and macaroni which was delicious! I even loved the greens which I normally don't eat. My husband had the pork chops which he loved as well. The portions are pretty generous. Dessert was amazing!... More

It was suggested to us to try another local restaurant, but on hearing some other reviews we thought it would be safe to go with one of Emeril ' s restaurants. We were not disappointed. The service was exceptional and from the cocktails to the gumbo and salad to the shrimp and grits everything was magnificent. The flavors are more... More

I loved this place for atmosphere, food and alcohol. The meal was excellent. My friend had the taster meal and it was really good value in a great location.

NOLA is an attractive location with a large and engaged staff. Our issue was with the inconsistencies in the food and while the meal was fairly priced, the wines were marked up well beyond "reasonable". Wood Fired Oysters were excellent - terrific flavors! New Bedford Scallop Court Bouillon, also excellent with wonderful flavors and a delicious broth. Vanilla Crepe dessert... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
