We had Mardi Gras Pasta, which was great. Service and price were excellent. Other food looked really good. We will be back.

I had pizza and my friend had shrimp and sausage pasta. We both liked our meals and had much leftover (which reheated well the next day). Our waitress was excellent; engaging, attentive and efficient. We enjoyed our dining experience.

Very nice and quiet dining experience. There are Mona Lisa drawings and paintings over all the walls. Patrons are encouraged to drawn a Mona Lisa to be hung on the walls. The food was delicious as well as the service.

We walked by this restaurant a few times over the course of our stay and there was usually a crowd out front. We're both really bad at having to wait once we decide to eat--planning ahead so that we're not starving by the time we decide to eat would help this. I know. However on the last night of our... I love looking at all the interpretations of Mona Lisa on the walls. We loved this little gem so much that we dined here two nights in a row!! The sweet owner came... More

I used to go to Mona Lisa's in college in the mid-late 1980s-- value is not in the chessy decor (40-50 pictures of Mona Lisa--most of them bad renditions) but in the delicious Italian food at a low price-- it in the 80s entrees were $8-- I had their Italian sausage spagetti for $13 Dec 2016 -- The Lasauna is... Friendly little Italian place in the quarter. A bit out of the way but that makes it intimate. Fantastic garlic bread and lasagna. Everything we had was good. Prices are very reasonable for the quarter. A local gem.

A small little cosy italian restaurant that is warm and quiet. Staff are very knowledgeable and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Wine selections are great and very affordable. Their mediterranean salad is superb!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
