I love this restaurant. It is very small and so close to the hotel I was in. The food is spectacular. I had the lemon caper chicken and it is divine!

It may look like your average neighborhood pizza joint, but Mona Lisa Pizza is anything but! I stumbled in with my drunk friends on a Sunday night, and was immediately greeted by a mouthy staff member and incredible aroma of baking pizza. The restaurant was...filling up quickly, but we managed to snag a table. If there is a wait it will be worth it. During these COVID times please follow the rules of our city and request of the restaurant.More

Old-school Italian done right in a small place with a welcoming vibe. I haven't been here in a while, but have been a fan since I moved to New Orleans over 25 years ago. I was moved to leave a review by a picture I...saw of the one-star review by the idiot who "won't be tracked or tested for this rona hoax" and their response. Now I love them even more. Any restaurant that isn't afraid to publicly shame idiots gets my love and my business. I'll be going back soon.More

The customer ruined our dining experience. Asked for his number and home location for tracking as required by law, he refused and called Coronavirus a hoax. WOW. Then he complained that they were out of spinach lasagna and about the pizza crust. Apparently that’s how...they roll in Pittsburgh.More

Looking for mouthwatering Italian food with a nice old fashioned vibe complete with a million Mona Lisa pictures?! This is your place. This is our go to for Italian fare in New Orleans with portions so large we usually share an entree as well as...an appetizer. Every single bite is heaven! Usually always packed so you may have to wait for a spot. If you catch them on a super busy evening, you go across the street to the Golden Lantern for a quick drink and they’ll call you when they have a table for you! The ambience is everything and the owner is usually on deck to greet you. A million different Mona Lisa’s adorn the walls of the Mona Lisa. A very cool spot indeed. You will always leave with a smile.More

I've been going here since the 90s and the food is consistently great. There can be a bit of a wait when it's busy, but that's what happens when the food is this good. I REALLY appreciate them doing virus tracking by getting contact information...for customers. I want to know if I've been even marginally exposed, and they do that graciously and with a smile. Please Note: The one star review from people who wanted to ignore the 'rona hoax' only makes me love them more. Providing a community health service to the delusional can't be easy, but they try. Thanks, Mona Lisa!More

Excellent pizzas and salads in this small French Quarter restaurant. They had many other dishes that looked wonderful but we were with our young grandson and he needed pizza! The walls are quite entertaining and covered with all versions of the Mona Lisa. I will...definitely go back here - hope you will reopen. Your restaurant was a highlight of our trip!More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

They do not take reservations. It opens @ 5:00 PM and a line starts forming around 4:30 but it's worth waiting in line.

Not sure if they do, but if you go to Yelp and check the posts and scroll down there is a copy of the menu! You can check it. Its not a fancy spot, but the food was made with love. I will go back on any trip to NOLA!
