New Orleans offers many holiday Reveillon dining options and Brigtsen’s will never disappoint. The hospitality is lovely and the food is simply outstanding. The seasonal citrus dessert is not to be missed and the gumbo is truly divine. In favt, everything we shared was delicious....More

A classic - Frank Brightsen is a nice person and a wonderful chef. To me you can not miss with anything on the menu. Best bread pudding.

I have reviewed Brigtsen's several times since we first ate there 33 years ago . It remains the absolute best restaurant where we have eaten anywhere, not just New Orleans . The appetizers are delicate and unique; the fish entrees are of the highest quality...More

My partner & I dined here recently during our first trip to New Orleans. This place is definitely off the beaten path well away from the French Quarter out in the Riverbend district; as to whether it is a "hidden gem" is debatable. It is...More

The food is the reason for the 2 stars. Hypothetically, service gets 4 stars because the staff were all nice and attentive. There’s only street parking available. You’re lucky if you find something within a block. The interior of the restaurant is small. Some people...More
