I am never disappointed when I go to Commander's. The service is top notch and the food is always delicious! They change up the menu, so you'll always experience something new and different. It is on the expensive side and there is a dress code,...More

Great old New Orleans establishment. Try to get a table in the Garden Room. The Sunday brunch is a must for anyone wanting a great New Orleans experience.

Although the food was good at Commander's Palace, the ambiance seems better suited for groups or where you might take your parents. It is well decorated, but not where I would go for a romantic night out. Service and food were good, but I wouldn't...More

One of the best lunch bargains I've ever had the pleasure of partaking in. There were three of us who shared two 2-course prix fixe menus, an appetizer, and a dessert, in addition to a 25 cent martini each, and the total came to less...More

We came for lunch and were elated to find they offer 25 cent martinis and have two offerings of Commanders 3 course selections at great prices. The place seemed to have two levels. I believe they stick last minute reservations and people who haven't dressed...More

This is one of the best meals I've had. We were there last November and everything was simply delicious. The bread pudding souffle' was to die for. We had foie gras and berries for a starter, turtle soup and for our entrees, we had pecan...More

After no less than five people told us to have lunch at Commanders Palace, we figured we better listen and we are so glad. Important things to know before you go: 1) make reservations or you won't get in; 2) ask to be seated in...More

I just moved from New Orleans, and I will miss place dearly. I have the pleasure of dining here several times, and I don't know where to start. When you arrive, you are greeted by a line of people. The waitstaff is very attentive. The...More

Commander's Palace is in a residential neighborhood. It is in the Garden District, an upscale area. CP has valet parking or some people just park on the street. I have always taken a cab or Uber.

Commander's Palace welcomes everyone but we do have a dress code. It's a festive atmosphere! Shorts are never allowed. Inventive modern New Orleans cooking coexists with our Haute Creole. Sense the team's professional grace clothed in the warmth of the Brennan Family's brand of hospitality. From your first sip of a Sazerac to your last crumb of bread pudding soufflé, we hope you are pampered and delighted...and go ahead be a little bad...that's what living in New Orleans is all about.
