We ate dinner at Delmonicos tonight and it was awesome. Started with the charcuterie board. It was excellent. Our waiters , Lloyd and Jamie were friendly and provided great service. The wild boar meatballs and stuffed bell pepper apps were very good. Quail and crawfish entrees were delicious. Chocolate bomb desert was good. We will be back. All in all... More

Brought a group of thirteen to the best happy hour in town during the summer special on a Saturday evening. The bar was almost full when we arrived at 5:15, but the manager accommodated our large group by offering us the chefs table. The renovation of the garden district house turned restaurant was impeccable. Darren, the lead chef came out... More

Genuine southern charm and elegance. In NOLA, restaurants are meant to be an experience, not just serve meals. Delmonico's is nothing short of amazing on all counts. Food ,service, food and beverage are all superior - the highest quality.

Our group of eight had reservations at 6:00 pm. Arriving early, we started the evening with happy hour and promptly at 6:00, we were seated. From the moment we ascended the stairs to our table, the waitstaff led by Brett, was exceptional. Every need was anticipated, menu selections well-described, and the food was perfection. Ladies were even escorted to the... More

This is our first visit to NOLA and we've been fans of Emeril since the days of his cooking show. Upon arrival at Delmonico, we were treated as special guests by the staff. The menu offers many interesting choices and we decided as a group to order and share. Each one of us was very pleased with our choices...the barbecue... More

The restaurant is located in a very nice colonial house and offers different dining rooms. The service was amazing from beginning to end. The food (beet salad, fish and banana foster) was delicious! Next time again

My family and several other guests dined here in June and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and friendly! Our service was just as excellent, informative, and friendly! The food was excellent! From the steaks to the fish of the day everyone enjoyed their meal! The turtle soup was my favorite and had great... More

My group ate in the back room which had been reserved for our business banquet. Nonetheless, the chef was able to accommodate food allergies. The crispy pork cheek appetizer with dirty rice and scallions (which sounds a little scary) was quite simply the best foot I put in my mouth in New Orleans for the whole trip. Extremely helpful wait... More

Everything about our experience was top notch - the atmosphere was very pleasant (refined, yet homey); the service was impeccable (white glove and friendly at the same time); the food was amazing (nice sized portions, high quality, great flavor)! You will always have a great experience at Emeril's!

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
