Beyond our expectations. Everything was presented beautifully. Started with Sweet Potato Gnocchi which melted on your mouth. Then the petite Filet with crabmeat cooked to perfection My husband had a soup of asparagus with crabmeat and truffle. A bit bland but that was the only part of the meal that did not make us say WOW Followed by hanging tender... More

Do yourself a huge favor and don't come here to get disappointed. Nothing about it was good. I had to send my 12 oz. filet back twice because they didn't know the difference between rare and medium rare. I spent a ton of money to feed my family of four. Will never eat here again. A great disappointment especially since... More

Absolutely a fantastic restaurant. We went there for NYE and the place was hopping. Make reservations! We had several wait staff and the water glass never went half empty. Fantastic wine choices and the food was delicious. Had the aged Kansas City strip, filet mignon and the snapper at our table. All three were a home run! The sides were... More

Beautiful building and seating. Live piano at the bar. Some interesting takes on local cuisine. Great place for a date.

We love Emeril's shows and thought the restaurant would have her personality, but it doesn't. Sedate house in the garden district, understated/tasteful decor. Staff are young and inexperiences, so pacing of the meal was poor. Food was fine, but nothing memorable.

We were lucky to get a reservation at Emeril's Delmonico short notice during our week in New Orleans. The wait for our table was a bit awkward as we were instructed to head back to the bar and they would call us. There were quite a few other patrons in the bar waiting for a table and there was nowhere... More

We ended our family vacation with dinner our final night in NO and we were not disappointed!!! We started with several holiday cocktails which were great, and with the recommendation from the waiter, had the boudin balls and the gnocchi, which both were fantastic!!! The service was unbelievably great, especially compared to the night before when we ate at another... More

I was very excited to visit the restaurant because I have been a fan of Emeril Lagasse for many years. My table was seated in a room that is accessed by walking through the kitchen. The air conditioning was too cold but that wasn't too bad. We started with a cheese plate and the barbecued shrimp which was delicious. The... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
