We had a 3 table banquet, nice private space for a small dinner banquet. But, I don't really remember what I had, it was so average at best. It was a 4 course fixed menu. Cheap on corn bread, had to ask for butter, by the time they brought it we had finished the 2 very small 6" pans. Cesar... More

My family visited Emeril's Delmonico with business associates of my husbands. Absolutely everything we tried was wonderful. I enjoyed a melt in your mouth filet and a glass of red wine. This was probably the best meal we had during our 5 day visit to New Orleans.

Party of four, seated promptly, and the evening started. The waiter was outstanding, explained the menu, gave recommendation of all areas of the menu. The oysters and boudin were out of this world, and the aged prime rib was melt in your mouth awesome. Loved the coordination of service in presenting the various courses. Then dessert was over the top.... More

First night in New Orleans, how could we not try one of Emeril's restaurants. The food is delectable ! The ambiance is wonderful - sufficiently romantic ( be sure you are seated on the main level, where the piano player is located). The service is phenomenal, exceedingly friendly, helpful and not overly intrusive. The wine list ( book) is intimidating,... More

Complimentary valet parking is a must, and yes you should tip them. The wait staff are very professional and knowledgeable. They know the meals well, so ask questions if you have them. Wine list is enormous. I know the BBQ shrimp is a signature Emeril dish, but I was not impressed and you don't get much. Other than that, the... More

Loved the service, the food, the wine and everything about this place. We also walked through the kitchen on our way to the dining room which was neat. Highly recommend!

Emeril does it again. It has been a while since I have eaten at an Emeril restaurant. This does not disappoint. Steak houses bore me, after all how many NY strips can one eat or how many ways are there to serve them? YAWN. So in addition to the basic steak menu, this place is really spiced up. From oysters... and the food is amazing too! Of all the food I had in NOLA, the bruschetta I had here was the top of my food list and my husband would say that his was the soft-shell crab he had here. The "team" of service we received was amazing, funny, attentive and sweet. Emeril would be proud!

Emeril's Delmonico was impressive...gorgeous old building, friendly and attentive staff, delicious food. The table next to us ordered a Bananas Foster dresser to share, and it was flat bayed table side with a story of the dishes origin which made it a special experience.

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
