Fantastic meal. We visited during the Coolinary festival in which participating restaurants offer a more affordable tasting menu and wine pairing. We had crispy drum, pear salad, grilled pompano, and fried snapper belly. Attentive service, delightful meal, highly recommended.

This was our second time to GW Finns and it did not disappoint. It was amazing. I had the lobster bisque which is so awesome. I will be craving it until we have the opportunity to travel back to NOLA and eat here again. My...husband had the sushi appetizer and he loved it. For our meals I had the pompano and he had the shalibut. Both were amazing! Service was incredible as well.More

Few restaurants are consistently good over many years. GW Fins is. Even during a pandemic, the meal we had last night was as good as the meal we had here 2 years ago and 2 years before that. Highly recommend the halibut with scallops and...shrimp risotto. The ahi tuna was excellent as was the pork belly with watermelon. Not sure you could go wrong with anything on their menu.More

Extraordinary! There’s a reason they are #1! Almost didn’t go here, because we’re not fish lovers, and we were worried that there wouldn’t be enough food. Do not miss this! GW Fins was remarkable in every way. We didn’t have reservations, as it was 5pm...on a Monday night in October, so they sat us at a high table in the bar. Glad they did, as we had the exuberant and delightful Marlee as our server. I decided to try the Fall Feast, and Marlee recommended the Red Fish, which was one of the top 5 most delicious meals I have ever had in my nearly 50-year-old life. Who would have known! Even my husband said my Red Fish was like cotton candy, and he ate every bite of his own Cast Iron Skillet Chicken. My 3 course feast consisted of the Candied Pear Salad (blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette, Red Fish, and homemade Apple Pie and Vanilla Bean ice cream. A couple at the bar had come back 2 nights in a row, and it’s easy to see why. Unlike the #2 place on Trip Adviser, GW does not need to ask/beg for reviews. GW Fins is 10x better than any competition. The entire experience was exquisite and memorable in every aspect. Thank you again everyone at GW, from the hostess, to beautiful Marlee, to the brilliant chef/kitchen, and every single hardworking wait staff, we will never forget you!More

The food was great along with the staff. Had the Fall Feast and the blackened swordfish, both were very good. Enjoyed the experience.

The service was first class and we were treated so well! It was lobster week when we visited and I ordered the lobster roll and lobster bisque. Both were just fine. Roll was surprisingly small for being listed as an entree. Others is my party...ordered the scallibut and pork chop. Surprisingly the pork chop was the best entree- unexpected for a seafood restaurant.More

Had a truly fantastic dinner here with the Chef preparing fish we had caught on a same day fishing excursion! He prepared the various species of fish ( redfish, trout, sheep head) several different ways and each one was truly a culinary delight!!! Everything was...perfect- drinks great, side dishes, biscuits and desserts amazing as well! Saw many delicious entries that we would have likely loved had we not done our own fish. The pork belly appetizer and lobster risotto were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place! Service was excellent as well❤️ Sorry for the pictures- it looked so delicious we couldn’t wait to dig in and forgot to take the pictures beforehand!!! By the way, the PRETZEL SALTED CARAMEL DESSERT WAS SCRUMPTIOUS!More
