We've had great meals in many restaurants over the US and the world. This one stood out for the menu, the quality of the fresh seafood, and the service from Roderick our most excellent waiter. We'd go back again and recommend it to anyone.

Visited totally based on reviews from trip advisor #1 restaurant in NOLA. Reviews are very accurate for this place. Food was excellent, drinks were good, ambiance was nice, not loud in the restaurant. Only issue....our server was a inattentive to us and the tables around us. Would return to see how the service was with a server that paid attention.

Incredible place for sea food fine dining! I know, I know, New Orleans is s place you can find sea food just about anywhere but this is a restaurant that can offer you a memorable meal. I was alone on a business trip this past Tuesday and stopped by for a quick bite. The bar offers a full dining menu... More

Went with girlfriend and another couple. $15 martini was average at best. GF had drink that was ok too. Appetizers lobster dumplings were ok. had soft shell crab with brown butter... probably my favorite bite. GF had the scallop/fish special. That was tasty, her favorite bite. I had the chicken skin drum. After 3 or 4 bites, I got bored... More

Everything about our meal was exceptional. Service was outstanding, ambience and decor were first class. The menu was mainly seafood, but everything was excellent.

A difficult one. Firstly the bar area is tiny and chocked, so not worth turning up early unless you enjoy standing like a sardine! The food is superb some of the best fish I've eaten. Our waiter ( not a college student) Moose was both knowledgeable and professional. So why not a 5 star rating. Well it is the lack... More

We decided to celebrate our daughter passing the bar with a group of ten family members. The staff was super as always. The food was wonderful. The pork belly appetizer is a favorite of ours. This restaurant is a must go to place when in New Orleans.

We ate here based on the reviews. I was disappointed. Thought the place was extremely LOUD. Had we not been with two friends, I would have told my husband I wanted to leave. The service was not so great either. Small menu too. Not sure if I missed something since this got a good rating on Trip Adivsor. We go... More

This is an excellent place to celebrate a special event or simply give yourself a treat. We booked through Open Table, although you can sometimes find a cozy seat at the bar or a table in the bar area in this justifiably popular restaurant. My husband and I went to celebrate my first year cancer-free, and we're still talking about... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
