Reservations required. Our server wasMarion D. & he was wonderful. Parmesan crusted sheepshead with crab was good sized & cooked to perfection, just a tad salty probably because of the Parmesan. The salmon carpaccio was sliced so thin that it was nearly transparent & stuck to the plate. It was served with a saving of spiced cabbage & was delicious.... More

This is truly an amazing restaurant. The dining room is beautiful, the service excellent, and the food every bit as good as the reviews suggest. If you only get one fine meal in the city or you are heading to the firing squad tomorrow, then this should be your choice.

We arrived, two of us, on a week night without a reservation. We had called and they had none...so we showed up when they opened the doors and got lucky. We started our dinner with Perseco and Titos...YUM LOVE WHEN THEY HAVE TITOS!! The biscuits served with dinner were as perfect as bisquIts can possibly be. The waiter was as... More

Everything was topnotch, from greeting to food preparation, wine list, and service. Would not hesitate to return. This is a find dining experience, and prices reflect the quality. Modern ambiance, noisy, very popular and reservations required.

What a wonderful dining experience we had this evening. Food and service was fantastic. We had oysters that were delicious and the crab cake was perfection. Red snapper melted in your mouth and the scalibut is worth coming for alone. Truly memorable. Don't be turned off by the "dress code". Everyone was dressed neatly and presentable.

Ive eaten here on 3 separate occasions, and all three visits I ate the special of the day. The best piece of Red Snapper ever. Its a place that is on the upper side of cost, but well worth the money. Dinner and drinks with desert is about 100 dollars. If you are on a budget, skip the wine and... More

There were 9 of us for a birthday dinner. Although the restaurant was packed, they seem to be well staffed as service was prompt and attentive, without being intrusive, all through the meal. The menu is definitely tilted to New Orleans seafood. Everyone loved every course - the food was simply fantastic.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
