I've been to Jacques-Imos many times, It is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans with a very good menu and very unique décor.

We make a point of coming here when we visit the food is excellent and the service is very good. As soon as you sit down They bring you over a plate of their corn bread muffins like nothing you have ever had they are...delicious. The fried chicken here is some of the best anywhere and the alligator shrimp cheese cake is to die for. The stuffed catfish is very good as well what ever you get her I promise you will not leave here hungry A big thank you to the owner Jack The creme brulee was fantastic and it was a pleasure meeting you.More

I went there for the first time on my recent visit and I tell you what, I’ll visit every time I visit New Orleans now. Food was amazing. Staff was helpful. And I met the owner, who was a super cool guy! 10/10 without a...doubt!!More

We "discovered" Jacques-Imo's on Halloween without knowing what a gem was ahead. Amazing experience which included 2 pianists on pick-up trucks to regale the side-walk diners and the pleasure of meeting Jacques himself (and thank you many times over for the Alligator Cheesecake and congenial...conversation). This was all before the dinner itself, which was superb - my daughter and I both had the Stuffed Catfish with crabfish dressing and hollandaise; my husband had the Cajun Bouillabaisse. The most remarkable thing too was that while most of New Orleans was still recovering from Hurricane Zeta, including with power-outages in many surrounding streets, with the help of a generator, nothing was stopping Halloween for Jacques-Imo's! Thank you for such a wonderful evening - we're looking forward to the next dinner as soon as we can come back to New Orleans!More

Jacques-Imo's has excellent food along with a friendly staff. Had the scallops and the grouper, both were very good. Enjoyed our meal immensely!

Absolutely loved Jacques-Imo's. We were fortunate to be staying nearby so were able to dine 3 times in 1 week. Watermelon mojito was fantastic, fried green tomatoes and fried grits were my favourite and the shrimp stuffed with crab was delicious. We can recommend them...all. In fact, we did not even have an entre as the starters were so generous and delicious. The cornbread muffins were out of this world! Very comfortable and cozy ambiance. Our experience with the staff was very positive from the attentive servers, to the jovial kitchen staff and the hostesses were very accommodating and friendly. Easy to get to from the French Quarter - just take the St. Charles Streetcar to Oak and walk a few blocks to the restaurant.More

A friend recommended Jacques-Imo’s and we took a chance. Mainly locals since it was quite a drive from the French Quarter. ...well worth the drive! Our server was outstanding and took great care in making sure the food we ordered met dietary resrictions of one...in our group. The grouper was outstanding as was the short ribs on sweet potatoes. Will definitely be back any time we are in town.More

Love this place! Very cool atmosphere. Fun and busy. Food is consistently great, especially the jalapeño corn muffins and shrimp/fish dishes. I wish they were able to give reservations for parties of 2, but I understand!

We arrived around 9:00 on Valentine's Day. Seated in about 30 minutes. Had the chance to try the Watermelon Mojito which was delicious and had chunks of watermelon in it. Bread is absolutely delicious! Salad was fabulous and Shrimp Creole was perfect. Lots of shrimp,...perfect portion size, perfect spice! Thank you for another delicious dinner!More

Yes, you can easily park in the street. We went there twice in November and had no trouble finding a parking space along the side walk. Hope this helps.
