Sonny, the waiter, was friendly and seemed attentive when we arrived but it was downhill from there. Bread was just dropped on table. When requested another it too was just plopped on the table. Sonny left before taking entire order. He did this twice and...More

I love appetizers and these are some of the best: Escargot with the perfect amount of garlic in the butter, Shrimp Remoulade with perfectly spiced sauce, Fried Oysters with bacon and meunier butter and the most decadent Foie Gras with apricot chutney. Of course the...More

I wish they'd had oysters on half shell rather than with 'rockfeller' topping, enjoyed anyway. Superb service. We couldn't get reservation at Galatoire's next...More

We were sent here on a recommendation by a friend and we made a reservation in advance. We thought we’d be in the nicer part of the restaurant but ended up being in the Galatoire’s 33 section which felt more like a sports bar atmosphere....More

I had heard so much about Galatoire's so I drug my friends there in the pouring rain. I had read that the dining room does not permit short pants on men, so I knew we would be in the bar. The service was good, but...More

I do love luxury and was excited to go to this 1905 New Orleans elegant restaurant. The service was impeccable but I was very disappointed in the Bouillabaise.

Never ordered it either, but the trout almandine was incredible. I would just trust your waiter in this place. They have old Europe style professional waiters there and they are never wrong.
