This is just an awful experience. We waited over 30 minutes to place our order and then never saw our waitress again. We had to flag down another to get water. Waited another 45 minutes for order. Food is fine but why bother with such...More

The restaurant is very clean and modern. The service was excellent. The food was average at best. The shrimp in my main course were sparse and very small in size. The salad was average. Nice place but no compelling reason to return.

I grabbed a quick bite at Rene bistro while staying at the Renaissance. It's a nice lively room with a great bar for sitting and grabbing a bite. The fries and French onion soup were tasty and paired well with their craft beer and whiskey...More

Thismis one I really wanted to like. There is much more bad news than good, but maybe the Super Bowl crush put them in the weeds. First, the service was dead slow. The guy was nice, but overwhelmed. The oysters were not good, but the...More

I had the spare rib Monday night special which was cooked in a white wine with green beans and mushrooms. It was cooked in a sort of soup bowl that it was cooked in. It was very good. They also had a french bread that...More

A buffet breakfast is offered on the weekends, excellent flavors but very limited selections. Made to order omelets, grits, and the usually modest pastries and fruit make for a pleasant but forgettable experience.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
