This was an impromtu stop for late dinner. We sat outside. We had the pasta Jambalaya which was delicious with the right amount spice. After reading the reviews, I guess this place is a hit or miss. We were lucky.

We ate meat ball Poy Boy and some crispy fried fish at the Gumbo Pot. Both were good with ample servings, and masses of fries & other accompaniments. A highly filling satisfactory lunch.

First on my list when arriving in New Orleans was a bowl of gumbo. I asked our hotel for a recommendation, and they said the Gumbo Pot which was right across the street. Much to our dismay, the Gumbo Pot is currently closed for renovation....More

When we arrived, we noticed that the restaurant was almost empty. Upon first greeting, the host let us know that they DON'T serve alcohol. No problem for us. Prices were a bit higher than most places we had eaten in the French Quarter area. We...More

Our last meal before leaving the Crescent City. Can never have too many Po-Boys in New Orleans and this is a great place to do so

Shrimp Po Boys ($17 and that was the only thing on the plate) were ok. Service was poor. Establishment put gratuity on a check for two people - I'm certain to ensure a gratuity- because the staff were rude to patrons as well as each...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
