Starting with oysters on the half shell, some topped with delights; to Lobster Gnocchi to die for; finished with a bread pudding devine. Excellent service except for the waiter who had to be reminded to finish a by-the-glass wine pour after emptying a bottle. All aroung great evening.

So I made the reservations based on trip Advisor reviews and have to admit that yet again - that was a good thing! The reviews were spot on! We had a marvellous dinner, wait staff was extremely attentive and the food was divine! I am a strict vegetarian and there were several items on the menu to select from.

From everything we'd heard, we were looking forward to dinner there. We were seated in a sort of thoroughfare, with doors opening and closing and waitstaff scurrying in and out. Our team of three waitstaff was average at best. My tenderloin, ordered medium/medium rare showed up well done. The au gratin potatoes were mushy and cool. A head waiter offered... More

While being a fan of John Folse for years, we were eager to go to R'evolution. After having a hard time making a reservation and made to feel lucky we could be "squeezed" in, over 2/3 the restaurant was empty! We were greeted by Brook and her team and made to feel at home after our initial impression. Brook was... More

The decor is beautiful, it has a feeling of elegance. My meal was delicious and beautifully plated. Please don't expect to see large unhealthy portions and to-go containers.... More

Wow..... top notch restaurant! The ambiance is just beautiful and the service is impeccable here! I loved the short ribs, cream cheese mashed potatoes, asparagus, artichoke au gratin, fries with 2 sauces.... and the appetizers and dessert that were compliments of the chef and pastry chef ! My three friends shared the 40 oz tomahawk ribeye and said it was... More

So if you've dined at some of the Michelin ** in France, this place is the American equivalent. Yes, there are the affectations (a little stool for your purse, a napkin carefully laid on your lap) but there is a down home and southern comfort friendliness that takes away some of the unpleasant (at least for me) elitism. The room... More

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
