As always, staff was extremely pleasant & the Jazz quartet was amazing. Most of the food was uniquely prepared and presented, unfortunately the dish I ordered (eggs sardou) was a complete miss! Still, all in all, I would recommend this for an amazing New Orleans experience that makes you feel very special.

Ate at R'evolution two weeks ago and it was one of the best foodie experiences I have ever had. It all started with Rory, who is one of the best in the industry! I could have listened to him explain the food all night long. He paid such good attention to us and at the end of the evening, took... More

The potted mousse was amazing...great value, the bbq shrimp yummy but for $8 per shrimp quite expensive. Wine list was excellent and the service was stellar!

An upscale restaurant which requires reservations, a live band is always on hand and you are treated like royalty. Unique dishes and twists on old favorites make this place completely different from any other place in NOLA. Do not be afraid to ask for suggestions from the bartender, manager or waiters. There is a large communal table looking over the... More

Friend recommended Restaurant R'evolution for brunch and are we glad that he did. Great experience - wonderful food and service, great live jazz music (appropriate volume) that added to the ambiance. We had a reservation but really didn't need one. Try the crab beignets - they were amazing.

Wow....this is one of those places. The place was so busy we ate in the bar(reservations a must). But it was well worth it. From Caviar to the dessert it was all excellent and our server was nice and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner!

In town to celebrate our friends birthday. Wanted a special restaurant that was walking distance from our hotel The Monteleone. All the reviews for R'evolution were really top notch. So we tried it. We are all so happy we did. The reviews were right. Great ambience, great service throughout the night, great beverage selections, and incredible food. Won't go into... More

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po' boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
