Very nice restaurant in the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Excellent food and service. They will treat you like a King and Queen and grant you every wish. Not cheap by well worth the experience for a great memorable night out in New Orleans!!

Wow..... top notch restaurant! The ambiance is just beautiful and the service is impeccable here! I loved the short ribs, cream cheese mashed potatoes, asparagus, artichoke au gratin, fries with 2 sauces.... and the appetizers and dessert that were compliments of the chef and pastry chef ! My three friends shared the 40 oz tomahawk ribeye and said it was... More

So if you've dined at some of the Michelin ** in France, this place is the American equivalent. Yes, there are the affectations (a little stool for your purse, a napkin carefully laid on your lap) but there is a down home and southern comfort friendliness that takes away some of the unpleasant (at least for me) elitism. The room... More

I made reservations after reading another trip advisor review written by a vegetarian. It's tough in certain cities to find restaurants that will be incredible for me and my carnivore husband. I'm so glad I read reviews and found this place. The service was incredible (thanks, Jordan and Bryan). The chef customized a delicious pasta for me that was unforgettable.... More

Hard to know where to start. Perfect, elegant warm environment. Brian, our waiter and his team were perfect and my followers know how picky I am. Everything we tried, which was a lot, exceeded our expectations. Big menu and everything delivered. Personal favourites were the sweetbreads, quail three ways and the duck. Dont miss the sides, best grits in the... More

On our foodie week this was our first dinner and the one all others were compared to. I can't say any one dish was the greatest I've ever had but the overall dining experience was excellent. The service was the best we had in NOLA. Portions are on the smaller side but I prefer that to leaving so full I'm... More

We enjoyed a Sunday jazz brunch here for our anniversary. We were seated by a window overlooking their courtyard in a lovely dining room. Service was prompt and attentive, a bit formal but not too stuffy. We shared the crab beignets - 4 beignets each served with a different sauce. These were quite tasty, almost like a crab imperial center... More

This restaurant is located inside the Royal Sonesta Hotel. The bar is very nice and looks like a good place to enjoy a drink. The main dining area is very well decorated and spacious. My wife enjoyed having the purse stool at the end of the table. The staff was nice and we were seated early. Try the crab cake... More

I've been to 5 star restaurants and 3 star taverns. Never have I felt like such a hick. This place is snooty and hoity toity. Couldn't decide what accent everyone spoke but had to have the waiter repeat himself multiple times. Bring bags of money because this place is VERY PRICY. The waiter suggested a cocktail for me that cost... More

Our last day in New Orleans allowed us to catch a reservation for a place we had been hearing about all week and it didn't disappoint. Excellent and attentive table service (if a bit standoffish door greeter) walked us through an abbreviated lunch version of some delicious seafood, great cocktails and a spectacular burger that left us wanting to return... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
