I've been here numerous times and enjoy the bar very much. The only draw back is the wine is quite pricey. The is a happy hour although I made it only once. The best thing in the menu is a terrible that is wonderful.

Ate lunch here yesterday with my wife. Nice decor with an old fashioned feeling. Pleasant, non-intrusive service. We had the blue cheese burger, which was excellent, and the beef rib debris po'boy, which was very good. Reasonably priced.

I had dinner here during a business trip and LOVED it. The service was remarkable and the waitstaff very courteous and helpful when answering questions -- evening finding other staffers to answer when they did not know the answer. The food was absolutely phenomenal, especially the turtle soup and the French 75 Vacherin Glacé -- an amazingly light and tasty... More

I know that is a bold statement, but the experience was amazing. There are some serious challenges you face... The menu is too much. With so many varied possibilities it's almost numbing trying to settle on what to have. We had a group of seven so the menu turned out well because only a few ordered the same thing so... More

From the amuse to the jewel box of sweet treasures, this is a first class dining experience. We went for Sunday brunch and were so impressed we went back for dinner. Patrick the maitre'd welcomed us and assured us a first class dining event. The house made salumi is not to be missed. We could not resist the multitude of... More

We were there on Thanksgiving, and the menu was limited and the dishes not that great. Plus they lost our reservation, which we'd made months before.

This dining experience was outstanding! We had 4 people waiting on us to meet our every need!! I had the scallop dish with fois gras and my sister had the short ribs, both a delicacy delight! You certainly want to savor your food in this beautiful restaurant, because it was the most enjoyable dinner we had here! It is pricey,... More

Dined at R'evolution with our family (mom, brother, sister-in-law and nephew) in October. Great reception by the staff. The food was excellent. The beer battered crab beignets were amazing. One of the best thing I've tasted in New Orleans, and I've been here a couple of times. The short ribs (my brother's order) were the highlight. Outstanding. The pasta dishes... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
