I wanted to say great things but the food here is just average. Ethiopian is my favorite culinary style and I make a point to seek it out wherever I travel. This is the only place currently serving in Nola. The injera is great but...More

One of our favorite things to do is take friends here for the first time. Our family has our order fairly routine. We start with Sambusa - always a veggie type filling and the Beet salad followed by Lamb TIbs , Doro Gomen and the...More

Friendly atmosphere and lovely hosts! We loved it. We left with enough leftovers for a yummy vegetarian food for 4 of us the next evening. The great thing about Ethiopian food is it just as good warmed up. Make sure you try the baklava.

The food was excellent. A few of our group hadn't eaten this kind of food before. They were very curious and enjoyed the lovely meal very much.

We don't have an Ethiopian restaurant in Baton Rouge--the nearest is Cafe Abyssinia in New Orleans, LA--a one hour trip and worth it all. I"m not trying to be derogatory, but this place has the appearance of a dive. And depending on the time you...More
