We came across this place by chance one afternoon after dropping off our hire car at Hertz. We just wanted a couple of drinks and something light to eat. I can't remember what time it was but I think Happy Hour was probably between 4 and 6pm. We were seated at the long bar and perused the menu. As we... More

My wife and I came to Mannings to have a few drinks and some food when we first got to Nola. This place was awesome! So many tvs and even a big screen with reclining seats to watch the games on. Our bartender Liz was awesome, with a contagious smile. The restaurant and bar were packed for a basketball game... More

Great food, and awesome service by Q and Jay!! They were wonderful. All the food on the menu is tasty, and we are there TWICE on our 4 day visit to NOLA.

Management was TERRIBLE!! We came in to watch a hockey game. They turned the game off while we were watching it, told us we had to go outside, and turned on NBA pregame. The manager REFUSED to turn on the hockey game even after our 20+ group had to leave the outdoor area because of a downpour and then went... More

This place promises everything if you are into sports. Multi screens, great looking bar, big restaurant. Location is good. Problem was that the bar staff were too busy counting tips to serve. Appalling level of service from a place that promised so much. The guy sitting next to me said he was there the previous night but only because the... More

Comfortable place with a tv for any sport playing so we grabbed a brew and a seat and settled in for some great food as we ordered this and that and finally moved onto our shopping day in New Orleans. Just like home with the recliners and staff making us very happy.

Went to Mannings to watch a hockey game, impressed with the whole package. Enjoyed the Nachos, the football and basketball games inside (though the cost $1 to play), the outdoor TV. A great place to hang out

Welcoming food lovers and sports fan alike, Manning's is the place to eat, drink and cheer all year long. Manning's, named after New Orleans native and football legend, Archie Manning, features a menu of game day inspired classics with a New Orleans twist, 24 draft beers and refreshing cocktails. Catch all your favorite sports on the 30 flat screen televisions and two 13-foot mega screens. Relax in a leather recliner in our "End Zone" seating in front of our mega screen indoors or dine alfresco in front of the mega screen in the French Quarter style courtyard. On the menu try one of Archie's favorites like the Archie Burger with 8 oz of ground chuck and brisket served dressed with a bacon onion jam and pimento cheese or the shrimp po'boy with flash fried Louisiana shrimp on toasted French bread. Manning's is located on the picturesque Fulton Street pedestrian corridor and offers complimentary validated parking in the Harrah's New Orleans Self-Park Garage with a purchase of $20 or more.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
