Passing by in afternoon and stopped for late lunch. Very charming atmosphere, very friendly wait staff. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good. The owner stopped by our table to give us suggestions for places to visit. Overall very pleased !

I found this place on find me gluten free, and it was a highlight of my entire New Orleans trip. My first comment on my gluten free chicken and waffles benedict was "I can't believe this exists." My second comment was "I can't believe how delicious this is." The chicken was grilled rather than fried but quite tasty. The hollandaise... More

What a gem! We have been coming to NOLA for many years. Recently, my wife was diagnosed with Celiac' disease and requires a strict gluten free diet. We found this cafe one Sunday morning and what a find it was! We were amaze how knowledgeable the chef/co-owner was and willing to spend time with us on the meal preparation. Their... More

Our usual brunch spot was jammed packed, so we had to fine an alternative. So glad we did! Fresh eggs, creamy NOLA style grits, breads and refreshing teas were on our fare! Excellent service! Such a nice change, too, to gave the owner come and visit each table to ask how how we were enjoying everything! Yes, we shall return!

12 of us were seated comfortably in a back room and with an engaging waiter, Katua who made the lunch fun for all of us. Excellent and diverse menu, variety of "smoothies" that could be made "virgin" or add your desired alcohol (this is New Orleans, after all). Everyone enjoyed their lunch choices, trading plates and hoping to get your... More

Creative menu. Good food. Great waiter. (Name is spelled Katyu) if he asks you to spell it. Served us (party of 12) with no trouble. Close to our B&B.

I bumped into this quaint little bistro and was hoping for the best. I ate at the bar but was greeted by I'll help you when I am done (working on her register!) she then told me her name and said tell me when u know what u want. Cappuccino was watered down and I didn't get it until the... More

Went to dinner and I really enjoyed the food. It was excellent. I wish it had come out of the kitchen hotter, but that was not a deal breaker. The negative of the night was when the bill came. Staff added a 20% gratuity to the bill for 4 people. I would have tipped 20% anyway but if it is going... More

Please accept my apologies for the gratuity automatically being added to your bill. I have to say that is was due to an internal miscommunication amongst management on our part. In no way were we trying to imply that our guests would not tip appropriately, and yes, your server should have informed you of the gratuity being added. There was... More
