Guy was an amazing waiter and was very tuned into my needs and of all the tables he was taking care of. He kept an eye out for when I was out of napkins and refilled it immediately without me asking. I like to read while eating and he gave me the space to do that without rushing me. Also cleared the table quickly. The service was beyond stellar.
Also, I highly recommend the Taste Of New Orleans dish- it gives you a variety of things popular in the New Orleans scene and they are GOOD. Portion size was worth the money too- this dish might feed two folks honestly!

Nestled in the vibrant Bourbon street, this restaurant welcomes you with a rather energetic atmosphere, filled with Basketball games, live music and a lot of people; signs of a good place. I sat down, hoping to just grab a quick bite, and be on my way. I however, did not expect this to be a memory I will cherish for time to come. The server Guy was very friendly, and cracked some jokes here and there, amplifying the lively mood set in this establishment. I ordered a Shrimp Alfredo, which was decent, nothing special to write about; a Fish Platter, which was very tender yet crispy, and the sauces that came with it amplified the taste of an already flavor packed fish. But the star of the show was definitely the Chicken Alfredo. The Chicken Alfredo had a great quantity, a simple yet creamy sauce and the chicken itself had this thin crisp to it and had completely immersed itself in the sauce, which had an amazing taste. The drinks were great too. I highly recommend stopping here when you're strolling around the french quarter.

We had just gotten off the Cruise Ship and had a later flight so we walked to Bourbon street again had to use our cup to get a Margarita. Jessica M and her husband were very helpful. I was very hungry for some Crawfish and she helped me order and get some more different foods without a lot of spice. I can not handle food with lots of spice, but do like to experience the taste of cultures. Jessica M was very helpful in what we needed to order and the food was Awesome and very satisfying!

We went because the reviews were so good, what a let down. It’s a fun little funky place, liked the atmosphere. Our server was not very attentive and not really that busy. I had the Daniel’s Poboy $21, it had about 10 small shrimp, covered with crawfish cream sauce over tomato, lettuce and pickles. It was served cold and just not good. It came with Seasoned Fries and Coleslaw that I never received. My wife’s Shrimp Dinner $27 had about 10 large breaded shrimp, pretty decent fries and Coleslaw. I ate her Coleslaw and some of her shrimp, of which some pieces were good, some pieces were tough. $53 before tax and tip for a below average lunch for two just did not sit well with us.

We stopped here for dinner having just arrived on our first night in the French Quarter and looking for somewhere to eat while wandering along Bourbon Street. Reviews on here were very positive. To be fair the food was good and the server was very pleasant but when the bill came we were charged for one drink we didn't have, the cocktail was charged at $16 rather than the $12 per the menu (apparently the souvenir plastic cup was an extra $4 - we wouldn't have bothered if we had been asked) and the dessert was charged at $10 rather than $8 per the menu. So we left with a bad taste in the mouth. As we found out over the next few days of our trip, there are so many better places to eat in the French Quarter with better food and better value.

We headed here on a Saturday evening for some good food. The reviews would lead to believe it’s excellent and that’s what we hoped.
Sadly I felt let down. We ordered the fried chicken and a house salad. The fried chicken was fine but for $20+ it’s basic.
The house salad on the other hand was very poor. More accurately it was lettuce not a salad. For $6.5 all you get is a few shredded lettuce leaves, a single slice of tomato and a single slice of an onion. That’s it.
Perhaps it was an off day but for a bill of over $40 you leave feeling hard done by.
If nothing else go and sit on the balcony and people watch, it’s a great spot for that!

Amazing food and drinks! Hurricane was perfectly made the chicken and sausage gumbo was the best I wish I would have gotten a bowl instead of a cup. Our server Guy was very attentive and his recommendation of the bread pudding was very appreciated.

Not sure why this is rated so highly. Although service and drinks were good, Food was mediocre. I had the blackened fish with mashed potatoes which were sticky and gummy. The red beans and rice were more like refried beans with rice which made for a very mushy texture. Husband had fried shrimp platter and it was good. Surely there’s other places that deserve the top spot in the list.

Overpriced for what it is, rough and thrown together seating area more like a fast food cafe than restaurant. Steak was just ok. Staff hard to get their attention and they added on excessive tip automatically to our 2 person bill which then when we challenged we were told wasn’t an option. $30 tip is excessive for two people and a <$100 total order. Think we got scammed.

Blackened Alligator bites were quite good. We had the special with the fish and sauce and crawfish tails which was good. The steak was not good. The blackened ribeye had so much of the spice on it that it was pastey and gritty in texture and the quality of the steak was very poor. The mashed potatoes that came with it were decent.

We were greeted by the and only Frank at the front door. He was very warm and welcoming. Erica waited on us. She was so pleasant and attentive. The service was top tier!!!
The food was delicious! The costs vary , but I'd say the average cost per plate is about $17. The drinks were good and not "watered" down.
I'd definitely recommend stopping here for some good food that speaks to your soul 😋.

Everything was fantastic! Bri was just awesome. She gave excellent recommendations and was very attentive. She recommended the daily special of redfish with crawfish etouffe and fried crawfish tails over seafood rice - superb! Will definitely be back!

I ate here on Friday late at night, again on Saturday during lunchtime as part of a food tour, and once more on Saturday evening before I left. Needless to say, the food was absolutely amazing, but what truly elevated the experience was the wonderful hospitality from everyone.
A special shoutout to Frank, Alex, and Jessica! Words can’t express how much I appreciated feeling valued and respected as a customer. The service was exceptional, and everything about this place is truly 5 stars. It's clear that a great attitude contributes to making great food.
Frank, you are awesome!

Quaint location on Bourbon Street. We chose Ole Nola because they were one of few restaurants willing to take a reservation for a group of 10. The restaurant has a narrow footprint with seating for about 40 on the main floor, and another 30-40 people upstairs.
I ordered the special for the evening, seasoned redfish and shrimp with pesto pasta. Others in our group ordered the crab cake platter and Po Boys. Everyone’s meals were delicious.
Our server, Ronnie, was unbelievably efficient, responsive, and accurate with our drink and food orders (without ever writing down a single thing). She was great.
One observation, other than the great food; the music seemed a little loud at times on the first floor, often making it difficult to have conversations.

Our family was in NOLA during Christmas and decided to try out Olde Nola Cookery for our Christmas day meal. Our waitress Jess was very pleasant and helpful in our service and selections! She gave us suggestions to try some classic NOLA cuisine. Four of us split the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, Blackened Chicken House Salad, Gator Tail Bites, and Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. One of us was not a fan of Cajun food, so ordered the Deluxe Cheeseburger. All the food, especially the Gator Tail Bites were delicious. We were able to cross off some foods we had wanted to try while in New Orleans. For a treat we ordered Bread Pudding, Pecan Pie, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chocolate Kahlua Mousse to split between the five of us. We were stuffed, to say the least. The mousse was especially rich and filling. We sat on the second floor, which got a little cold with the balcony doors open, but it was cool to look out at Bourbon Street from above. The food price was typical of the French Quarter (usually $15 and up).

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
