We just happened to be walking down Bourbon street and this place was recommended to us by their man who was out on the street drumming up business. It seems like the type of place where you get seated, served and sent on your way in fairly quick time. But in the end we didn't feel rushed and were able... More

This place is awesome , but eat Cajun food. You are visiting south Louisiana so try the crab cakes they are #1. I am from here and they have mine beat. Just visited the east coast and they have theirs beat. Fried seafood platter looked awesome. Will definitely return.

This was our first time taking our 20-something-year-olds to New Orleans. We had to take them to this restaurant. The chicken fettuccine alfredo and the shrimp fettuccine alfredo are my favorites. Very smooth, not too rich. Can't go wrong with this place.

Had the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta. SO GOOD. Would eat again. My wife had the vegetarian pasta and loved it as well.

If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault!! We had the catfish platter and seafood platter...sooooo very good! Wished we could get the hushpuppies as appitizers or sides. They were some of the best I ever had, but some may find them a little spicy. Catfish was fresh and melt in your mouth! French fries and waitress weren't amazing... More

This was the first place we stopped to eat when we arrived in New Orleans. Wehad high expectations going in as the reviews are mostly positive. We were taken up stairs to be seated and forgot about. There were probably 20 people upstairs. I saw 4 servers at the bar talking and texting. We waited nearly 10 minutes just to... More

This was one of the restaurants that had no line, we were starving so we thought to try it out. The online reviews are not honest. The prices were high and not a value, I had cheeseburger and fries @$14 and hubby had oyster poboy @$16.50... bar type view. Hamburger patties was poor quality fast food texture, only could eat... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
