On the edge of the French Quarter (Dauphine and Toulouse), this place has everything you need without the hassle of walking to Walgreens. It's a small-door entry, so don't miss it... NOTE: This is primarily a grocery and not a restaurant... They have an excellent grill/griddle, but it's more a place to go if you need snacks, groceries, etc. Features... More

We read many other reviews and wanted a quick bite for breakfast. Very close to our hotel on Burbon St. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Freshly cooked on a hot griddle! Great convenience store, awesome sandwiches, nice people! This was a great find!

We found this place by accident, when looking for lunch. It made a nice change to sitting in a restaurant, eating whilst walking. Really good deli, with nice people. The French bread sandwich is pretty big, about$7, roast beef with trimmings. Coffee one and half dollars. There is a varied menu and is served hot or cold. If you are... More

Had the ham and cheese sandwich..really, really good, AND cheaper than anywhere else for a quck breakfast in the quarter. We were 10 mins after breakfast, but the cook made us a sandwich anyway...this is a little grocery with a grill. We walked to Jackson square and ate our breakfast there.

Fantastic breakfast sandwiches. We are here every morning on our trip. The sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant was delicious !

Great breakfast grill and small market. Grill service is a little slow, but worth the wait. The french bread sandwiches are awesome.

This is just a little grocery store deli carryout only place, but maybe the best bang for your buck breakfast in the French Quarter. I had the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant, very good around five bucks. You can pick up beer, coffee, soda etc. while you are there. Look for small yellow sign above beat-up old door.

A fellow at our hotel told me about breakfast sandwiches at this little grocery right by where we were staying at the Olivier House Hotel. So glad we found this good and very affordable little place as much is overpriced in the French Quarter. Lunch specials and all your grocery or travel needs are there too.

Husband and I wanted a quick and inexpensive lunch. We got two sandwiches to go from here and then sat in Jackson Square and had a little picnic. The sandwiches were phenomenal!

We stayed at the Inn on St. Peter and we wanted to have a breakfast sandwich on the balcony and just relax. Carol at the front desk of the hotel directed us to this spot - it was perfect for us! We had a foot long egg, ham and cheese sandwich on French bread for $6.50. It was perfect for... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
