My hubby and I always stop at Felipes when visiting NOLA. I prefer the vegie quesadillas and my husband enjoys the steak tacos. Reasonable prices but they add extra for quac and cheese. The frozen margaritas are excellent. Usually daily drink specials. Food is made to order and you can pick your toppings. Love the chips and guac. Nice bar... More

The food was ok but menu hard to follow and service was lining up and subway style preparation with plastic cutlery .. And Not cheap... Bar service was appalling and wine was over priced... Wouldn't recommend

We ate here a couple of times for lunch and we sure get our orders of Drinks here every year. Their Margaritas have a good punch. Frequent spot, with reasonable prices!! Keeps a nice crowd all the time.

This was our second time visiting Felipe's and it did not disappoint. We stopped in for a snack and sat at the bar. Margs were great - very strong! Great drink specials otherwise as well. Split an order of Nacho's with chicken made exactly as recommended minus as the jalapeno's. Easily enough to split across 3 people. Food was fresh... More

All the classic Mexican tacos and dishes, plus some great drink options. Prices were very fair and service was good.

We received a tip to try this little gem from a friend and we were not disappointed. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and fabulous flavors. Easy walk from the French Market district and will definitely go again

Just off the hustle, crowd and filth of Bourbon Street - this Taqueria offers a CLEAN facility with reasonably priced and excellent quality Mexican fare.

Terrific taqueria hidden in the French quarter. Food is super fresh. Been coming here for years. Staff is friendly and fast. So what separates this from any Burrito Joes Taco shack that you find back home? Their bar. An amazing bar with a ridiculous variety of tequilas. They make the best margaritas I've ever had. Great spot if you need... More

I pretty much make coming to this place a staple for every visit to NOLA. Love their food and the chill atmosphere. The food comes out very quick too. I recommend the Carnitas and the tamales. Both very good.

Thank Mike Y

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
