Beautiful, cozy space, a good wine selection and just a great place to unwind after a long day sightseeing.

We stopped here after a disappointing dinner at Oceana Grill and it saved the night! It looks small from the front but once you get in it's a large bar with a great vibe and an even larger atrium area with a fountain. Great wine,...great service and a welcome break from the craziness of Bourbon Street.More
Magical mix of patrons. Poor Patrick the owner had to put up with a man cursing at him, but lots of love from everyone else. Lot of people coming and going. Nice ambiance and good music with the nice wines.
There was a good atmosphere in here - very calm and refined, a welcome relief from the mayhem of Bourbon Street. There is a nice little courtyard at the front. The bar itself has comfortable armchairs and a well stocked bar. We really liked it!
Wonderful break from the noise and commotion of Bourbon Street. Classic New Orleans, charming and unpretentious. The bartender had a great sense of humor. The wine 🍷 was served in a proper glass. It was so relaxing and just nice to be there. Will seek...it out next time I’m in town!More
We stepped away from the hectic boubon street for the quiet ambience of the courtyard (the inside was also pure ambience). Found a rare tap of Chimay for my husband and shared a bottle of the current houseblend red with our friends - happy they...allowed us to take their really exquisite wine glasses on the patio. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!More
This is about as authentic of a belgian beer bar you will find in the NO! When you order a Le Chouffe or a Chimay it is actually served in the correct glassware! They also have nice wine selection (according to my wife). Great atmosphere,...great patio out front- even had a replica Manniken Pis (dressed up for St. Patty's day)! Unfortunately we found this place late in our trip so only had time to visit once - would have definitely gone back again if we had time.More
Patrick's was recommended to us by friends that visited New Orleans last year. We've been to many wine bars together so they know what we like....and we LOVED Patrick's! It's a quite, eclectic place where you can sit down and have a conversation without yelling...over others or music. You really wouldn't know that you're only a block away from Bourbon Street! I noticed a gentleman open one of the many wine lockers that adorn the walls and was curious about the story so I got up and asked him....only to find out that he was Patrick! That was a nice surprise. He told me that lockers are available to rent to store your wines and they will be there for you when you visit. Genius idea! There is a waiting list and you can purchase a name plate for $20 to get on the list but it would be a long time (if ever) to get a locker....what a novelty! My husband and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of a delicious Cabernet for an average price. One of my favorite stops of our trip to New Orleans!More
We were really looking forward to having a drink here based on the reviews as wine bars are more our speed compared to Bourbon Street. Stopped in on a Friday night and the place was dead. Unfriendly welcome. Felt like we were intruding on the...bartender chatting with the 2 couples at the bar who were the only ones in the place. Decided it wasn't worth our time and left. It is a hotel bar after all and we probably shouldn't have expected so much.More
We went into Patrick's every night as we were staying at the Mazarin. Lovely bar with soft, cosy furnishings and the drinks were very good. The wine particularly was outstanding. It also had a little garden area and another little ante room next to the...main bar. We are so pleased this was attached to our hotel. Favourite bar we visited.More
We stayed at the Hotel Mazarin in NOLA, and you can enter the Wine Bar without going outside. We went to Patrick's for a drink several times, and enjoyed the ambiance of the small space, the friendly server, and the variety of wines available. You...can have your drink in the courtyard, but we preferred to stay in the cozy chairs in the bar. There is not a lot of food choice, but we did have a cheese plate one evening - it was just OK (it was cold, and obvious that the plate was prepared beforehand and taken out of a fridge as ordered, so not freshly made), I'd just pass on the cheese plate and go for the other offerings.More
I was wandering the Quarter one afternoon, just wanting a nice glass of wine on a patio, & saw the sign for Patrick's on a side street. Perfect. Fine wine, a quiet & shady outdoor oasis, & some friendly folks was exactly what I was...looking for!More
Nice vibe We ordered the cheese and meat platter. It was average. Service was fine. 4 glasses of wine. 50 bucks. Clean bathroom.
We love this bar. We come every time we visit New Orleans. We wished we had skipped this visit. The bartender was so NOT engaging. We were two of three in the entire bar and he still didn’t make you feel welcomed. I’m not sure...I’ll give this another shot. Drinks aren’t cheap, which I’m fine with, if the personnel makes you feel welcome.More
I have been going to this bar since it opened and PATRICK is an awesome host. This place is 100 feet from Bourbon Street and 100 miles in class. It has the best management and it has been that way since it opened. They have...a great clientele, as well.More
