Good breakfast, cheap. Pleasant, entertaining staff. Also have good burgers. Open at 8:00, earlier than most restaurants in the Quarter.

I have visited this location of the Camellia Grill many times, but always for breakfast. Breakfast can be a very hectic times, as you can imagine at this historic grill, sometimes hard to get a seat and you can feel a bit rushed at times. Nighttime is a whole different experience. While there must have been no less than 10,000... More

This is a great stop. We recently spent a three day weekend in New Orleans and ate here twice. The food is very good, and very reasonable. $10 bucks will get you a hand made cheeseburger and huge pile of fries. This is a local place to grab breakfast or lunch. The same gentleman that waits on you, also will... More

The service was excellent the food was excellent. The people were so friendly. We were served instantly. The staff greeted when you walked in and out. No tables. It's like and old school diner with wrap around counter. Very good breakfast. Nothing bad to say about this place!

Great food. Hangover cure. Don't order a cafe au lait or a salad. :) The staff will quickly let you know where to go! A fun NOLA experience and a must for breakfast.

I tell all my friends and family to go here when they travel on vacation. This was my go to breakfast spot. I left disappointed because my pecans were burnt in the pecan waffle. My waitress had two sections and spent her time at another counter. It was not busy...so there was no reason to be inattentive.

We remember our server from the Garden District location years back. What a fun fellow "Peanut" is. He even read my mind when I was trying to choose between grits and hash browns!?! He decided to surprise me with BOTH! While serving the waffle he called out "Let go of my Eggo!" If you recall that old commercial, then you... More

This restaurant is all counter service, and well worth the wait. I had the Mexican omelette and it was perfect. The counter servers were absolutely great. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
