Had a great brunch before visiting the museums in the area. I throughly enjoyed the Red Gravy I ordered and added a meatball. The meatball was well flavored and had a nice little sear to it that allowed the "crust" bits to blend with the...More

My friends and I went here for brunch on a business trip to New Orleans. Our waiter (who we affectionately called Peaches) was funny and entertaining. We ordered mimosas, which came with small handmade carafes of 3 juice choices and a bottle of champagne. I...More

This place was by far the Worst service experience we have ever had! To sum it up, first of all the food quality is over rated. Her “Red Gravy” is like a can on tomato sauce thinned down with salt added. The 8 or 9...More

Wow, it must be pretty amazing in your reality. Nothing happened as you suggested it did. People in 'the industry' as you claim to be, generally read menus, and notice when it says 'only 2 checks per table'. People in 'the industry' also understand how...More

Out of all the amazing restaurants in NOLA, this was the only place we ate in twice. The food is flat out amazing, and quite possibly the best meatballs I have ever had at a restaurant. The flavor of the red gravy is balanced and...More

Thanks so much, Kevin! My grandmother loved making meatballs the size of softballs!! We compromise by going tennis ball size, but the recipe is the same, handed down from my grandmother to my mother to me. Our pasta is all handmade and I'm so happy...More

We had not been here before and the hotel recommended it. We’re very glad they did. The moon pie was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Everyone loved their breakfast and we will be back.

Thank you so much for coming in!!! That moon pie is a labor of love!!! It's stuffed with Jersey Taylor ham, cheese and homemade mashed potatoes!! Topped with hollandaise and an egg, what's not to love!! I really am happy you enjoyed the meal.

The food was well worth the wait. And there was a wait. Small place. I had the Italian sausage omlette, my wife the pulled pork biscuits. Really well prepared. I felt the coffee was a little weak. Overall very good. try it.

Thank you for coming in!! My grandma(s) were from Italy, and cooked all day long. There's just something about Jersey...you can never get it out of your blood. I'm glad you enjoyed your meals.

Bright and cheereful spot at the edge of the CBD, just across from the French Quarter. Red Gravy is a dedicated Farm to Table restaurant, sourcing most of our ingredients from local farmers, fishers and bakers. Currently listed as the #1 Brunch spot in New Orleans by OpenTable! Our brunch menu is comprised of traditional breakfast items, traditional Italian specialties like our handmade pasta and famous homemade meatballs, typical northern New Jersey/New York dishes and local, New Orleans favorites. Full service bar, cappuccino and espresso available. Come and eat, I always make too much!
