This is definitely a locals place. It's a dingy bar with food. A person in our party was vegetarian and spotted this place. What a disappointment. I was tempted to walk out which I should have done. The place smells of something that isn't good. One person was sick for a day and our vegetarian was rather embarrassed.

mediocre food, simple red beans and rice was bland and kidney beans undercooked. extremely rude behavior by kitchen staff guy who didn't like a song i played on their juke box, with my money, and he came from kitchen to behind bar and ejected it. i confronted him to replay the song with his money and he refused. very upset... Went here on the rec of a bartender at O'Briens -- quick lunch on a weekday, it was dead but the food was great! Highly recommend for a quick lunch on Frenchman street with a wide array of options - we aren't vegan but noticed a lot of options!

Heard about this place from a local and it definitely surpassed my expectations. Not only is the food extremely reasonable in price (my wrap and chips were $9), but the food was absolutely AMAZING!! I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic frozen Irish coffee! Nice place across for Bamboulas. Sit at the bar, talk to bartender, ask for sample tastes of daily specials. Shot & beer specials. Salads are great.

I do appreciate this bar as I can get several vegan options and very late night. Drink prices are the best on Frenchman and the staff are always accommodating and friendly. It's a good place to sit for a bit with friends before jumping back into the wonderful madness of Frenchman. I very much recommend this establishment

I was in the mood for light fare and ordered a great spinach salad. Hubby had tots and Philly cheesesteak. Good food but horrible ice tea (dirty coffee pot taste) Nice staff.

I had the classic Philly, and a spinach salad! The roast beef was tender, juicy, and I love the French bread with it. My friend had the corned beef sandwich. The corned beef is made in house, and it is mind blowingly good! The spinach salad was fresh and fantastic.
