This small restaurant was located near our condo so we gave it a try and ended up eating breakfast there every morning.. The portions of food are adequate, the food is tasty, and the prices are moderate. It is not gourmet food or atmosphere, but for a good breakfast or lunch it is good. I highly recommend it.

We ate here while waiting for our cruise vacation to start. Trying to feed a group of 10+ people for several days was a challenge but we ALL loved Daisy Dukes, little bit of everything on the menu and breakfast all day! We will definitely go back!!

Surprisingly, the cheapest place we've eaten at during our trip (almost 3 days in now) and the best tasting meal we've had thus far. Alligator and Cajun omelettes were pretty darn good. The spicy sausage in the Cajun omelette was borderline too spicy for me. Looks like they have a pretty good, basic menu. Probably can't go wrong with much... More

Their jambalaya is awesome! Great service. I ordered on 2 different late nights and delivery was quick and the food was hot.

Stayed at a hotel close to this restaurant. Tried calling extremely rude on the phone. I would not recommend this place.

After a very fun night of watching the Pride parade and then going to the dueling piano bad, we decided we were hungry at about 1am. Daisy Dukes hit the spot. I don't know what they put in their hash browns but they were the best!!

Po boy sandwiches were good! Fried green tomatoes, gumbo and the étouffée were amazing! Good food hands down; service wasn't the best. We got our drinks after our food came out...food came out within 10-15 minutes. Prices were reasonable and the 18% gratuity is already included in the bill.

Our server, Pamela, was amazing. We had a group of 8, and she gave us fantastic, quick service, and treated us like we were her only table. Our food came out quickly, and it was excellent! I had fried green tomatoes and the alligator sausage po'boy, and both were marvelous.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
