Really friendly place to grab a bite to eat. Servers are great, attentive, and really take care of you. Had the Alligator Sausage Po'Boy with fries. A really messy yet delicious sandwich. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Apparently they do a great all day breakfast so I will need to try that next. Alligator Omelet? I'm in!

We had high hopes for this place due to the good reviews, and gave them 3 chances. 2 out of the 3 times our orders were incorrect and the 3rd time our server had zero personality- no smile, no introduction, no people skills at all. I don't know if the incorrect orders were the fault of our server or the... More

Lots of variety in the food selection. The Omelet is especially good. You can vary it to your own liking. Scrambled eggs could have been better. There was plenty of food so it was impossible to go hungry. Staff members were very attentive and visited the table often to be sure everyone was properly supplied with coffee and anything else.... This is a little off the beaten path but definitely a good spot to eat. Gumbo was the best I've ever had. Service is a little slow but not terrible. Cheap cocktails.

We've been here numerous times. Great sweet tea, friendly wait staff, good food, good prices. Etouffee, gumbo, poboys, hamburgers, and the breakfast are all very good.

Daisy Duke's is a small restaurant in the French Quarter. Servers are all friendly, breakfast is served 24/7, and the Bloody Marys are bottomless! Yes, as long as you order food, you can have as many Bloody Marys as you want for $8. My husband and I had the deliciously tender chicken-fried steak with eggs, hash browns or grits, and... More

We visited with a large group last weekend for my sisters bacehlorette party. Daisy Dukes was a great late night stop. We had some fabulous food and I recommend this location for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Had skipped dinner and then decided at the last minute we wanted something quick. Daisy Dukes was recommended and since it was up the block from our hotel we went there. Great choice. And they serve breakfast 24/7. Staff was so friendly and our omelettes were perfect!

Thank cardscharlotte

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
