I discovered Daisy Dukes in March 2016 when I visited New Orleans for the first time. Alerhia was my server that time around and was very attentive and friendly. When I went back to NoLa this January I knew I wanted the cheap yet delicious eats that Daisy Dukes offered. To my delight Alerhia was my server once again. Her... More

Front desk at my hotel gave me info on this place (along with others). Wanted some cajun food but didn't want to go out so I ordered from them online. They have a good amount of choices. Ordered a fried shrimp platter with cajun fries. I was told it would be 45 minutes but in actuality is was only 20.... More

Always a favorite stop on NOLA, the food is good & usually helps the hangovers! Good bloody Mary's. service is fast. It's a small place, don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. Great breakfast, burgers, gumbo!

We really enjoyed breakfast there today, Pamela was our server and she was just awesome! Quick arrival of drinks and food, great food to cure a hangover and yummy bloody Mary's with a craw daddy to garnish. Prices decent. We had a great experience here.

I got the Crawfish Etoufee, which I'd never had, and it was delicious. My hubby got the pork chop and loved it. Only complaint was it was a cold day and was freezing inside. But how often does it get that cold in NOLA?

This restaurant is very convenient to locate, and the service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the French Quarter and Nola area. Breakfast was very tasty! They have a great early morning special breakfast which is very filling and tasty. We truly enjoy our breakfast and conversation with staff.

Our server Pamela was so sweet! We decided to come in here before our flight back home and it was a great decision. We will definitely be back on our next visit here! Can't beat the bottomless Bloody Mary's either :D

Me wife Rachael and I popped in here hopping for some fairly priced grub and a bottomless bloody mary. We got exactly what we expected, although Rachael was caught off guard by the crawfish on her bloody mary. Portions were really big which was great because we spent the afternoon jaunting about the French quarter soaking in the history of... More

Spent 4 fun days in New Orleans and when I asked my husband what his favorite thing about the trip was, he said "The Bloody Mary at Daisy Dukes"! I guess that sums it up! We also enjoyed the oyster po boy and gumbo. Great place for an inexpensive meal, pleasant staff, easy to find location. Definitely on our list... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
