This is in the old New Orleans Square Market. We had the Gluten Free crab cake with a salad. It was excellent. The crab was in large chunks. The top & bottom had a very thick, crispy, brown crust! It came with 2 very different...sauces on the side. We enjoyed them both. The rest of the menu Looks good to. It has outside seating only.More

We found this Amazing Vegan and GF restaurant in the French Market. The dishes are scratch made and you can taste the Love in the food. Trying to find delicious, authentic, Vegan and Gluten Free foods while in the Quarter is not easy. My friend...had the Gumbo that was Vegan and GF. I had the Crab cakes sandwich that were GF. There is also a Vegan Crab Cake option too. Don't worry meat eaters there are options for you too. The food was so delicious we could not stop eating. The side salad with my cakes was beautiful with avocado and tomato. Even the GF bread was delicious. Anyone who eats GF knows that bread is usually disappointing. Not this bread. My friend's Vegan Gumbo was so delicious and filling that she got an order to go. The man waiting on us, was so kind and friendly. Telling us how this was his Grandma's restaurant. Well she is doing everything right. The prices are reasonable too. We are going back our next visit.More

Well, I wasn't expecting to find great food at a market restaurant. This is basically a stand that you self order and your food comes in about 20 minutes. If there is space at this 4-5 stool counter, great. If not, you take your food...and go find a place to sit. We were lucky and sat at the counter. I ordered crab tacos. They just as good as they were pleasing to look at. The taco was stuffed with and abundance of very fresh greens, avocado and crab. It was served with a side of salsa and special sauce. The only I added was crystal hot sauce and wow...amazing. My daughter ate the gluten free pancakes with bananas and strawberries and honestly if I had a blindfold on I could not tell the difference between real and gluten free. We were all extremely happy with our breakfast and this hidden gem!!More

Essence Festival was our 1st trip to New Orleans since becoming vegan earlier this year. We figured it would be pretty difficult to find vegan/vegetarian options in town that were as good as all the rest we've eaten over the years. To our pleasant surprise,...this cafe counter had some really good food. It's nothing fancy of course, but the flavors of our food delectable. We ate here two days during our trip and will return again.More

Looked this place up online because it said they had gluten free po boys. That was a big deal for my fiance's first trip to NOLA needing to eat gluten free. The shrimp po boy was great.

I have probably reviewed this place before, but I finally tried their signature Crab Cake Passion (GF!) - and it is FABulous. Well worth a trip to the French Market (not easy to get by car or public transport). And that remoulade! I ate it...with my knife (couldn’t get the spoon in the little cup). Really lovely food from one of the rare allergy-friendly restaurants in a city known for its rich cuisine.More

I just want to say that NoLA is not necessary a vegan friendly city however this restaurant was the best of the only 4 vegan/vegan friendly restaurants I tried this past weekend . We love everything specially that we didnt have to leave our hotel...room *delivery * because we only had 2 hours before we have to leave to the airport. I ordered the vegan crab cake, the vegan pancakes, vegan phillicheese steak*mushrooms* with a salad and a juice ! everything was sooo good !!! It was even better than most vegan restaurants in California!! Is a little pricey but worth it!More

Have been here a few times, come when I’m here in NOLA on holidays. Everything about this place is 100! The service, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the owners. Anything you order will be amazing. Keep up the good work, I know it’s just...a matter of time till I am back! Dish of the day for me today was the okra vegan gumbo. It’s not real gumbo if it ain’t got okra in it 😉More

I came here as they advertised gluten free and I was happy to see that they offered gluten free pancakes as it is rare for a cafe to serve them. They were delicious and came with butter, syrup, walnuts and fruit which I enjoyed. I...would recommend this cafe to anyone who has a gluten free diet.More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
