this is the spot we stop at all the time now, when we travel to or passing by. I enjoyed the wait staff every time we stop by and their oysters are to die for, it does not matter which ones you get either because...More

I've eaten at a number of seafood restaurants over the years, and to be honest, and in my opinion, I don't remember ever having an entire meal so bad. I had the garlic oysters with parmesan cheese - couldn't eat the first one. Tasted terrible....More

Our first restaurant in New Orleans and it was hard not to return for every meal (we did return once). Some of the best oysters we've ever had. Kaitlyn V. was an excellent waitress.

Nice restaurant in the middle of the French quarter. Delicious and large raw oysters and fried gator to start with. Both excellent but the real standout for me was the crawfish etouffe. Best I had in NOLA. Great touch putting some fried tails on top...More

As a NOLA native, there are tons of great options, but Royal House never disappoints! They are consistently excellent, and not a lot of restaurants here can say that. The location is superb, and Royal House personifies the New Orleans spirit.

Not many places in NOLA are what I would call kid friendly. They all allow kids but you might want to take a look at their menu. They have a great burger which might be of interest to kids depending on their ages.
