Good selection of drinks, bartender was wonderful, atmosphere is very nice. We brought some snacks to eat while we drank.

The bar is a nice attempt at an English bar, but it could probably do with a lick of paint (and someone to clean the toilets more regularly). Also, the barmaid got both of our orders wrong and took a while to serve us! However,...More

My husband is a Whovian so we had to come here to check out the tardis. Took the ferry over and back (easy).. was about an hour and a half side trip, total. Beer was cheap.

Great stop after riding the ferry for a beer. Small. Love the phone booth. Great beer on tap! Bartender was very nice and informative.

Seriously. Take the ferry. Go for a real English pint for great value. Ambiance is amazing.... better than many pubs in England. Lots of laughs with locals. No food but they let you bring-in. Remarkable find. You'll have such a good time you'll risk missing...More

Casual, comfortable neighborhood joint with a good selection of beers and tables outside to enjoy the afternoon. Perfect spot for a pit stop after a ferry ride across the river.

We took the ferry over to Algiers to escape from the Mardi Gras scene in the French Quarter. Ended up spending 2-3 hours at this gem. Will definitely return next time we are in town. The bartender, Brad, is super cool. Friendly and funny, gets...More

Very friendly staff (Brad). Friendly patrons. Easy to strike up a conversation here. About 10 beer selections. Clean. Best pub we found on Algiers. Locals and tourists. We had a fun couple of hours here!

Great little spot to stop in for a beer. The dog was sitting at the bar, just like we were expecting. I would definitely recommend it as the third drinking stop, if you are doing a walking tour of Algiers! Perfect for right before you...More

Sitting pretty across the Mississippi River from the
rambunctious French Quarter, the Crescent City’s
second oldest neighborhood is as historic and as
scenic as any – just a lot less showy about it. With
its numerous 19th and early 20th century homes and
plentiful parks and riverside green space for cycling
and walking, subdued and low key Algiers yields the
best views of New Orleans and offers a quiet haven
