Definitely interesting, vegetarian and vegan options. So grateful to find this little hole in the wall place with only patio seating. The patatas and the bananas foster split were amazing!

It was suggested to us for breakfast but it is only open for lunch and dinner. Fresh, local (as much as possible) and a nice break from the heavier New Orleans food. They definitely have vegan and vegetarian food but they also have meat. You will sit outside so make sure you plan for the weather or maybe call ahead.... More

Visiting New Orleans for a few days you need to find this nice restaurant hidden in a French Quarter alley. The service is quick, menu is simple and they have excellent specials. The salads are fresh, vegetables and seafood were great and good drink options. Their signature green goddess dressing is a delicious thing to try.

Hidden on Exchange Pl, amongst Spanish-style architecture sits this small outdoor cafe. I waited at least 25 minutes for a solo table, but was able to venture down the street and browse. I ordered the Nuts and Cherries salad with shrimp and was impressed with the flavor combinations and balance. It was a great lunch spot.

Delicious meatloaf and vegetables. Mushroom pate with vegetables and bread that is wonderful. Truly great food. /creaService could be better. A really nice change from the normal cajun/creole fare in the French Quarter.

We had a tour guide recommend this restaurant and we were glad we took her advice. It is in the French Quarter but out of bustle and noise. The menu has something for everyone, including GF and Vegan. The tables are all set up in a courtyard and has a nice relaxed feel. The wait staff is very laid back.... More

It was good to find somewhere in New Orleans offering a number of interesting options for vegetarians. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was fine. It is small and does depend on being able to use the tables outside in the street. It is best to visit on a warm evening when you can sit outside as... More

While visiting New Orleans during Mardi Gras weekend, my boyfriend and I came across this fabulous little hidden place in an alley way. There were string lights across from side to side, and bistro tables out front. The food was amazing! So fresh and full of flavor! I had a cocktail called a "rose garden" and it tasted like heaven!... More

Went a few times on my trip, great food and customer service and plenty of options for vegan:vegetarian and health conscious diners. Will visit again next time I'm in New Orleans!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
