Tried to get in the place next door but it was rammed so came here. Free WI-FI and tasty grilled cheese sandwich. Great location on St. Charles Avenue.

We enjoyed having 2 breakfasts here since it was close to the hotel. The staff are pleasant and the cups of coffee large. They will gladly heat up your pastries fir you so you can have nice warm food. Great bacon and sweet potato scone. The vegan ginger snap cookie was particularly nice. Breakfast for 2 with plenty of food... More

I was looking for a good quiche and, during an online search, Avenue Cafe came up as having some of the best quiche. I have passed Avenue Cafe before, but never stopped in (it does not have a lot of curb appeal) but decided to check it out for lunch. Overall, the quiche was very good in a decent size... More

High prices for just a plane bagel or small pastry. Service was slow. It's just convenient, because there is no Starbucks near.

We're in New Orleans for a conference and just arrived. Staying at an AirBnB in the Garden District (cause we're not really French Quarter types). We were wandering in the area and looking for a light dinner and happened upon the Avenue Cafe and were delighted with the choice. We both had salads and a nice pastry for dessert. Really... More

Walking distance from where we are staying, this quickly became my go to spot. Delicious coffee, tasty and flavorful pastry and scones. What more could I ask for...oh right, totally friendly, helpful service! Go...

Dining around NOLA can get pricey and sometimes you don't want a full sit-in dining experience nor do you want to settle for fast food. Avenue Cafe fits the bill nicely. Bagels sandwiches, pastries, quiche, soup and salads, and of course coffee.

The coffee selection is large and the flavours great! The Americano is excellent, French Press not as good as I had hoped. Muffins and bagels are good.

We had iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches on the patio. It was delicious and I enjoyed watching the people while sipping on my latte. It's a short walk from many of the hotels and gave me a feeling of home in a strange, new city.

We had coffee and bagels here every morning while staying at the Clarion just a few steps away. Everything was delicious and the staff was warm and friendly. We got deressed on our last day...we didn't want to leave New Orleans or this special little shop.

We offer the best coffees from around the world roasted locally each week and ground fresh daily! In addition to our extensive choices of coffee, espresso, and teas, we serve fresh made pastries, croissants, breads, muffins, and cinnamon rolls from the best bakeries in New Orleans. Our full menu of sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and salads is served all day, and this is a great spot to people watch overlooking St. Charles Avenue or use our free wifi to get some work done. We are one of only 2 places in New Orleans serving H&H bagels from New York, enjoy them with a flavored cream cheese or fill it with a breakfast sandwich.
