About
In the late 1800's, Royal Street was home to a famous "curio" shop, a place where curiosities from all over the world could be had for a dollar or two. Today, the shop is no more, but the feeling of excitement and wonder still exists on Royal Street today. And so in the heart of the most premier art district in New Orleans, we're bringing back the curiosity - reintroducing New Orleans to a circus

We stopped in for drinks during some down time before a tour. The bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful. She spent a lot of time explaining how to make her signature cocktails. We shared a few appetizers which were delicious. Would definitely go back for...dinner.More

First, for our group, two had a short time window before heading to airport. We let our server, Michael, know our dilemma, and it worked. We quickly ordered the alligator app and a shrimp PoBoy, and Michael got the order in quickly and served. The...rest of us ordered bottomless Bloody Marys (it was a Sunday), and they are truly bottomless since we never found the bottom until we finished them in our to-go cups in the Quarter. For the relaxed people, we had great food -- Taste of New Orleans, Shrimp & Grits, and Eggs Pontchartrain. All of these were great. The Taste gives you a nice tasting of classic Cajun dishes. The red beans and rice out classes anything else we have had in the Quarter. The Shrimp & Grits (technically low country SC) were best we have every had. The grits were smooth and creamy, shrimp perfectly cooked, and the Andouille sausage was perfect. Now, we get to the Eggs Pontchartrain with blackened shrimp, which is simply the best brunch dish ever. Everything is perfectly cooked and prepped. Eggs perfect, crab cake perfect, shrimp perfect, biscuit and sauce perfect (you get the idea). Eggs Benedict is never come close.More

Unlimited mimosas or bloody Marys for $14...yes, please! They are not watered down either. I had the Royal breakfast and it was so much yummy hang over food. Exactly what you need after a night in the French Quarter. They accept reservations which are highly...recommended during Covid. Seating is first come/first serve for balcony dining.More

We decide to drop in for dinner on a whim. We are so glad we did. Everyone was super attentive and accommodating from the host to wait staff. Our waiter was awesome and at no time were we left waiting on service. The food was...amazing, probable some of the best crab cake we have eaten...which says a lot because we are local to the area.More

We came here recently with a party of 6 and I found it very disappointing. Our biggest issue was service and the length of time to get the food. It was about 8:30 on a wed night and not during Mardi Gras, they didn't seem...that busy. Our waitress kept disappearing, didn't refill waters or tell us when our food would come out. The chicken Ariana wasn't very good. The chicken portion was smaller and dried out. The sausage portion was small and very greasy. The spinach was so salty it was inedible and the mashed sweet potatoes were lumpy. The bowl of gumbo lacked what it was suppose to include. The fried po boy seemed fine. They had a few okay dishes but the lack of service and the wait really impacted the experience. The manager was there, you think she would have noticed. I see no reason to return. Their food Is not unusual or prepared especially well and they are fairly expensive so no reason to go.More

My daughter and I stopped in during our visit to NOLA last week. We chose Curio because it was close to the meeting point for our Ghost Tour. We both had Hurricanes while they were still on Happy hour. I ordered the red beans and...rice which were wonderful. My daughter had the turkey Cuban sandwich she really enjoyed. The service was good but not too overbearing. We enjoyed our dinner and would recommend going to Curio.More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
