They say ask a local where to dine and so glad we did!! Who knew you could take popcorn to whole new cuisine level. I think we must have tried everything on the menu and each time we were left speechless at the creativeness and...More
We had a multi-course meal and the level creativity and care placed in each course was simply amazing. The effort and the sophistication of the dishes make it worth the meal. If you're a foodie, you will be well rewarded.
Someone had recommended we go to Effervescence, so we decided to give it a try. The location is on the edge of the French quarter and is perfect to get away from the parade hoopla during Mardi Gras. The atmosphere is lovely. The service was...More
This is the perfect place to drink a flight of French Champagne while eating the most delicious oysters and the freshest shrimp. Excellent food, outstanding service and lovely ambiance! We will be back!
Walking home from our cemetery tour we needed a quick refresher. We stumbled in and luckily hit happy hour. Edward the manager was outstanding, our server was not. Cool ambiance, very chic.
Happy hour bubbles for $5. Great warm brie app
Very overrated, cold, impersonal white space, food ok but so limited as to be ridiculous. A chocolate mousse in an egg cup! So pretentious.

Well this was over priced and portions very small. If you want a meal don’t start here. It’s a nice upscale trendy place. A good place to go for a drink and appetizers with friends. The high ceilings make it very hard to visit because...More
Crystal and her staff in 2 short years have crafted an extremely elegant Restaurant and Bubbles Bar! The interior decor is extremely well put together and the thoughtfulness that went into its detail are very tasteful!

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
